Guess or a theory that the shieka and the zonai could have lived in the same years depending on how long ago king rarau and queen Sonia lived. @@GG-lk4xf Agreed. And Revali's Gale is not just to create a tornado, the user needs to stay inside it, so I think the original Revali's Gale is a much more difficult thing to do.

    • @ELAube_012
      @ELAube_012 Рік тому +77

      As someone said above, the foundation of how to create a tornado was already built by Revali, so the next thing is how to use it. Here I guess the difficulty between these two versions is a bit different.
      Revali's Gale is to push the user themselves up to the sky in a tornado, which requires the user to be strong enough to stay inside the wind and keep their body totally under control to be able to do the next move (one major big wall that made Revali struggle in The Champions Ballad. He was already able to create a tornado long before completing Revali's Gale, the problem that needed to be solved was to put himself inside the tornado and stay stable).
      On the other hand, Tulin's version is creating a horizontal tornado to push another something or someone to move forward; that doesn't require him to be able to stay in the wind, thus I think it is an easier thing to do compared with how Revali used the tornado.

      I would agree if a Game Over would reset you to the beginning of a dungeon, or make you lose items. But no, Game Overs in BOTW are no more than a soft slap to your hands, you can just resume from where you were with basically no penalty. You can also cook food that will give you a lot of extra hearts, good for bosses and stuff.
      You can, unironically, play the whole game with just 3 hearts and don't even notice it.
      Revali's Gale is basically mandatory for exploration, specially in rain and/or climbing mountains.

      Revali was unironically my favorite champion in BOTW.
      IMO he had the most useful ability, the coolest divine beast, and was the only champion who wasn't born with powers, but instead got them by sheer will power and training. (Iron Man anyone?)
      Watching his cutscenes made me realize he resented Link, and rightfully so as after all that training he wasn't chosen as Zelda's appointed knight, a role that was given to a random guy "destined" to be it. He seemed to like Zelda a lot, while Link was indifferent to her in 90% of the cutscenes, so that must've hurt even more.
      I love the grumpy bird boy, and all his cutscenes and dialogues are fantastic.
      I'm gonna be sincere and say I grew to hate TOTK for basically deleting the champions divine beasts and all the good stuff from BOTW. Specially Revali and Kass.
      But I'll admit Wind Temple, Colgera an Tulin were my favorite part of TOTK. The rest just fell repetitive, not as good.

    One subtle way they did this is that when he's first seen in TotK, he appears to be very stubborn and headstrong and brash, and wanting to do things on his own, but when he sees Link he not only acts like Link is his dear older brother he hasn't seen in years, but immediately accepts his help in the quest (rather than continuing his potentially-annoying "I can do this on my own" attitude).
