Even more depressing, Leon tried to reason with him, as if he was trying so desperately to find a little bit of evidence that his old friend was still in there, maybe a shred of humanity, but in the end, Krauser was so far gone but he would otherwise recognized Leon came so far in life to be where he is today

"Luiz separates from leon after the fight against the 2 giants, but realizes that leon will have problems with krauser, and helps him as he helped moments before he died, so far so good, heading to the island, meets Ada, she in turn is charging again for the amber that she wants so much, and he convinces her that he will get it, moving on to the part where leon will remove the plague from ashley in luiz's own laboratory, leon puts her in the chair and then due to the las plagas viruses are evolving too much, leon before activating the machine, faints... think about the scene: Ashley despairs, because she is trapped and almost mutated too, it is at that time friends that he appears (which in MY OPINION was supposed to be the great hero of this game) himself LUIZ SERA, activating the machine for Ashley and in then to our protagonist: LEON S. KENNEDY..... Moving on to the final battle, Ada is knocked out by SADDLER and Leon is in trouble, and our hero appears again, only... this time.... sacrificing himself to save Leon..... Leon enraged, shoots straight shots at the saddler's weak point and finishes him off with the most OVER POWER GAME equipment that's right, the KNIFE. After the battle, Ada wakes up and they stay with Luis until her last breath, then the scene comes in where he tries to light a cigarette.... Krauser killing Luis makes more sense because it makes it feel more personal for Leon. He trained Leon and went on missions with him, but betrays him in RE4. It makes the stakes feel higher and creates more tension between Leon and Krauser. Luis also gets way more screen time and dialogue in the remake, so it feels way more impactful and earned in the remake. In the original it was way too sudden and didn’t come across the way they intended. The remake does this WAY better.
No, it doesn’t. Luis saving Leon completes his redemption arc and makes his death feel more personal and impactful. He gets way more screen time and dialogue in the remake, so it actually makes a lot of sense for his character arc. Leon’s reaction in the original was unintentionally cringey and cheesy, and didn’t feel earned, given that he interacted with Luis for 3 minutes, lol. Their interactions in the remake are much more organic and genuine and feel more believable. The remake just does a WAY better job developing Luis’ character.
I recommend changing your title to something vague for the sake of avoiding more hate. No one likes spoilers especially one day before official release.
