    I said fxck all that bushing change on the control arms. I just went rock auto and bought a whole new control arm (bushings installed for like 65 bucks a piece! Was well worth it to me.

    Does anybody know the size socket you have to use to remove the castle nut from the lower control arm?

    Nice vid! Gettin ready to do the same on my 90! On your lower control arms did you keep the support brace runnin from tha frame, to the back of tha control arm then back to tha subframe? Wanna pull mine cuz its a pain whenever I have to drop my starter on tha passenger side but dunno how it'll affect tha front end alignment...

      Appreciate it! No need to remove the support brace when removing the lower control arm.

    Bruh no way you was able to get those upper control arms out by tapping the back of them. 😅 I’m stuck right there. I’m not taking these headers off tho. F that 😂

    How the hell did you get the centerlink to drop from the pitman arm so easily? I've been beating and pulling and mine is just stuck. Even rented an arm puller to no avail.

      Oh nevermind I didn't see ball joint tool in your hand. At first I thought you hit it with a hammer. I'll try the fork like you.. And you should upload some more vids man your car is so classy.

    Do you think the sway bar should be changed out or just the bushings?

    • @miket2607
      @miket2607 3 роки тому

      Bushings. Unless the sway bar is physically damaged or warped

    did you buy a new pitman arm or reuse the old one??

  • @casheighty8
    @casheighty8 6 років тому +5

    OR just buy a pair of Moog CK upper arms with serviceable problem-solver ball joints already installed.
