When I was in Rome Italy the entire size of the stores were smaller than the cheese isles we have in Wisconsin stores. And when I say cheese I don’t mean other dairy‘s as well, just cheese, everyone needs 80 different varieties of provolone. Right? 😝 I actually think people like smaller stores like Aldie and Trader Joe’s because they are so tiny. Two “good” options not 80 you have to figure out. That said I like to eat healthy, and I like to spend as little as possible, so our giant Woodmans stores actually do have the best values outside of only buying on sale at cost-co. I do however feel very blessed to live in a city with several options, so not only do our stores have options, we have options for stores and even options to buy from farms if we rather.

I dont know how or why this video popped up for me, but I am truly grateful! I am a single mom of one 12 year old so no where near the super mom you are. I've been struggling with pretty bad depression and I watched a bunch of your videos yesterday (the grocery hauls are super fun to watch), and I just wanted to leave a comment thanking you for all your positivity and energy. Mexican casserole. 2 pounds ground beef, 2cans of corn, 2 packets of taco seasoning, I can crushed tomatoes, cheddar cheese and 2 boxes of corn bread mix. Cook beef until done season to taste. Add corn, tomatoes and taco seasoning and mix. Pour into casserole dish, top with cheese. Prepare corn bread per directions on box and spread over cheese. Bake at 350 till corn bread is done. Can add beans to mixture if you like.

I love the stores. Everything being in larger containers must save a lot of money. My local ASDA (Walmart) is puny in comparison, and our Aldi is more like a cupboard. This brings back so many memories, though. Me, dragging six kids through Tesco. Whether they liked it or not. :D Thanks for sharing. After this, you definitely needed and deserved five minutes with your feet up.

I take about an hour cause of the list I have for diabetic diet and regular diet, but I don't have as many to feed. Only 4 people in my family (self included). I know a family who has 9 to feed, and they are very frugal. They also have special dietary needs for a member of theirs. I praise God for your videos. Thanks for posting them.

It's all about wiggling it in! I once wanted to have a really big grocery haul because I knew it would save me time and money - gas consumption counts BIG. So we ate beans and rice, pb& js, and some frozen vegetables for a looooong time just so I could save up the money to do a big grocery haul. We ate better and spent wiser too. It's sort of like how some people pay insurance once instead of paying it a little every month. It's cheaper to just pay it the one time. I know if I really want to accomplish something, I will find a way to make it happen to save money. It's all about where you can find the wiggle room at to make it happen.

The first thing I noticed to your video is that you ACTUALLY go into stores and pick out and up your list. Girrrrrlllll, you are old school and after my own heart! 🤣 love it. And y'all have an Aldi's?!!!!! Omgoodness, how I have been missing it, I grew up in Indiana and I now live in Texas and the nearest one to my family and I is over 2 hours away. Friends have told me that Trader Joe's is pretty much the same thing and that is only 30 miles away from us. I don't know about it yet, but I will visit and check out the unti prices and see if it's just as good as Aldi's. I soooo miss it! Lol

Easy crock pot Ranch Chicken and Potatoes. 4 boneless chicken breasts either cut into chunks or whole to be shredded later. 4 to 5 potatoes cut into bite size chunks. 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1 packet 9f ranch dressing mix. 1/4 cup milk. Mix soup, ranch dressing mix, and milk together. Put potatoes and chicken into your crock pot, pour soup mixture over the top. Cook on high 3 hrs. You can add veggies and cooked bacon for added goodness. I've only used carrots and corn so far.

Why are y’all bustin’ her chops? She goes once a month. Maybe her husband does bring in big bucks? Maybe she doesn’t spend in other areas so she can spend on the food they enjoy. I don’t remember her saying this was a “low budget, frugal haul” or claiming anything other than it being a “humongous haul”........seriously though. Watch and enjoy, or stop watching. Don’t make her feel bad about what she has, it doesn’t help anyone especially your own soul.
