BTS has said their hardest dance routines are the following 1. ON 2. Dionysus 3. Fire 4. DNA 5. Blood Sweat & Tears and now will be the next in the upcoming album as each release with dance is harder than the one before and getting much harder because they are getting older and have had injuries along the way,

@@cbookins I can't remember but you can check their behind the scene for idol. If not, then I don't know where I saw it.
For the Dionysus one though, they didn't show the difficult part. The difficult part is actually really difficult and dangerous so they had to alter the choreo because some members got hurt while performing it
I'll be honest, these compilations are cute but clearly not made by people with that much experience with dancing... You gotta keep that in mind. Also, these are clips of the choruses of songs, not necesarilly the most interesting parts of those choreographies, and you won't see transitions with such short clips (transitions are arguably one of BTS strenghts as dancers). Even the order of the songs is questionable.
I'm not an expert either, but these are BTS choreographies I would recommend:
- Run (Everyone loves the chorus with the back movement, but I think the verses are even better)
- I Need U (it's just great)
- Butterfly (more delicate)
- Danger (sharp)
- Boy In Luv (I just love when they imitate a car lol)
- Tomorrow (changes in levels)
- Blood Sweat & Tears (great storytelling)
- Not Today (the backup dancers do such a great job too, they make a tank and create a war zone ambience)
- Spring Day (they make a formation imitating a drowning ship)
- DNA (to me, it's just very original)
- Fake Love (great storytelling)
- IDOL(incorporates both Afro dance moves and Korean traditional folklor moves)
- ON (the backup dancers portray/represent the instrumental band, so much stamina)
- Dyonisus (great use of space, they use furniture even)
- Go Go (the dance is more goofy/playful)
- We Are Bulletproof pt. 2 (the members say it's one of their most demanding dances, just physically tiring)
- For You (just adding something more soft)
- Attack On Bangtan (it's just so much fun, specially in concert)

A lot of people saying On & Dionysus are the hardest. Those choreos by Miller are indeed the hardest hitting, very pleasing to watch & exhausting to dance to, but technically Madrid's choreos (DNA, Fire) are way harder although the boys make them look easy. Miller's choreo focused on big upper body movements while Madrid's incorporates extremely complex footworks.
Fake love and blood sweat and tears are even harder than those two tho
yeah but once you’ve got footwork down it’s relatively easy? it’s just speed that makes it hard, personally i’d still say miller’s are harder

@@summermetcalfe5236 we see lots of people covering ON choreo, because it is easier to copy and not look like an idiot. For DNA, less so because of the mastery required. Especially for a 7 member set-up. Everyone must be in synch.
Sariel i’d agree that dna is the hardest just because all the fine tuned isolations and the speed together make it hard to do cleanly and on beat, however i still stick with my original point that large upper body movements require energy and focus because it’s hard to do larger movements quickly and on time, therefore making them harder than footwork which are relatively easy to do on beat once you get them down?? i don’t really know how to explain it, that might’ve been unclear but that’s just my opinion :)
This is pretty inaccurate to me, it seems they are basing this off of the chorus.

I really enjoyed this video! It might not be an accurate ranking but it gives you a little preview clip of a lot of their choreo. You should definitely react to Hope on the Street! J-Hope used to make videos freestyling called Hope on the Street. I think there's compilation vids of a bunch of his freestyles. You should definitely check it out!

@@leekguitar taking the number of people into consideration and the amount of time they have to be in sync I think on is harder. I think bts themselves said on was difficult.I actually learnt danger pretty quickly.
The verse parts of the song don't have hard choreography but the rest of the song has difficult choreography. I wouldn't say it was more difficult than DNA though. I think they are about the same level.
Yall can't decide which one is harder among all ur opinions and here is why:
- Make a difference between "hard" as in GROUP dance OR only steps.
Let's say on, if u only focus on movements and have a good timing with music, it's easy (my opinion do not come at me). But if u see ALL of them with the backup dancers it's absolutely harder.
Let's say Dionysus, the steps are so easy IF U OBLY FOCUS ON THE STEPS THEMSELVES. BUT! If u add props and a lot of backups dancers as well, IT'S HELLA HARD! (btw I don't even know how did they come up with it). In Dionysus, u can chose which dance to follow bc there is a lot, I personally chose to dance the backup dance on the parts where I can use furniture, and that gives u opportunities to chose, bc u can't always bring a WHOLE CHAIR on a table.. Especially if u do it at home.

Something special about Danger, but Sariel's choices are also top notch.

It would be nice if you check it out all at once cause its only around 1:30 mins each. #2 got so much sauce and swag, and #3 is more sexy and sultry. Definately worth checking out! I disagree with this vid alot. I don't think the guy who made this vid knows much about dancing.
The coreo isn’t even the hardest part 😂, they still need to sing, rap, etc. all while dancing and looking good on stage.
I can dance Spring day, ON, Black swan, DNA (Kinda???), just one day, but with the hand movement, We are Bulletproof pt 2 (With the hand movement).
Agreed - this order isn't accurate, but it's a good compilation nevertheless.

Please watch BLACK SWAN (2020) and V's solo "Singularity" (2018)!

What they do I think is incredible !!!???!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read on ⭐️⭐️. When they talk about a hardest for someone, thing or group it is generally ment to stay in that context. So when I read the responses to these it’s a little confusing.
I mean why would choreographed pieces made for a group of people be judged if an individual could do it? I mean it was made for a group that is what makes it hard.
Think ....every turn, step hand movement , jump and etc. , not only has to match the music, tempo and space available, but you also have to sync up with other people and sometimes backup dancers.
Not just two , but in this case 7. On top of that you are talking about different heights and weights , along with abilities/ or experience ⭐️ keep reading its not what you think ⭐️( better word as some had prior experience). That and in dance practice you have difference in cloths and shoes a long with current health and temperament. ( not picking on anyone it’s just honest things that are ⭐️automatically⭐️ taken into account by professionals ).
Now when we take all that and apply it to BTS , it just turns into amazement. Think everyone was brought up to the same ( or as close to if you want ⭐️ not what I think 🤷🏻♀️⭐️ , professional dance level and developed complete trust that the people behind someone else have danced the same as you, jumped the same , even when you can’t see them. For a group of people to do that at that level ..... well amazing. Now there may be harder or others not shown but for an individual this is a good stepping stone ..maybe. But looking at it in terms of turning, jumping and coordinating-with multiple people .....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️I think BTS needs the 7 members it has , because that is the chemistry that works and that all their individual talents together make them who they are and they are amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think you should use the video as a list if you want an already organized list of reactions to do. That way you wouldn't have to worry about wondering making a list. Just a suggestion!

They definitely used the less technical parts of the dances as the videos they used, these dancing are a lot more difficult than this video shows
Boy with love should be in the 30s for level if difficulty- it’s pretty easy choreography. I think that people place these songs of off speed rather than actual difficulty
honestly, after ON came out i cans easly place it as the hardest. I think ON is the hardest coreo so far, from formation to the music break and the chorus....man...that sh.t looks complicated

I think you might be right that the video uses the chorus of the songs as video clips but maybe that doesn't always showcase the hardest parts of the choreo. Also it's unclear what kind of difficulty it's talking about, whether it's difficulty in coordination as group, or individual moves, or hard to make look good or get on time etc. Would be cool if someone who actually knows can make a new list *hint hint*
All of their choreography just gradually gets harder and harder with every new release. They themselves complain that the choreographers won’t take it easy on them 😂

It's hard to choose one of their choreos because all of them have and amazing funny or sexy or intense or cute or hard or original or nice part that makes you say "this is my favourite, no! this is my fav, no this is... "
You should check out ALL of the dance practices and make up your own list - I think it would be very interesting as I am sure if the person who did that vid was a dancer to not.

This list wasn't that accurate it's kinda easy to see it was made by a non-dancer who didnt really choose good parts to really showcase the choreo (and it's a bit old)
