Real Russia channel has convinced me to amend my thinking from: "I want visit St. Petersburg some day" to: "I MUST visit St Petersburg!" I've always wanted to go there to do a literary tour, but in addition to that, there is so much to see and do.And to eat! A feast for the eyes, the intellect and also the appetite...
Thanks Sergey for sharing that, the food looks really good and I enjoy watching your video, I love what you're doing, you are one cool dude, thanks from your friends in the USA.
Yeah Boi!.. Food Baby!... Yummy!.. I am hungry now...just drooling..😋🤤. Nice drone shots and a good watch. Keep Shinin' Brother!..U Rock!..Much love from NYC!..😎🤟⚡🔥
The Dagestan dish looks like a Mexican quesadilla, but filled with pork. I'm amazed at all the fresh seafood. You said it's brought from the east (Vladivostok)? Incredible diversity in food. Wish I had a market like that one next door.
You're just showing me things I missed to make me come back. You did the Museum of Cosmonautics in Moscow - how about the Museum of Space Exploration and Rocket Technology behind the Peter and Paul Fortress in St P?
Sergey, Ive never ceased being amazed at how far your country has come and how quickly it has changed for the better in a mere 20 years!! It's amazing!
this courtyard really need to removing all this parking lots and get more greenery! also this place has a really nice design code which make this place much more cosy (thanx for this vid)
Donna Johnson Yes the green line (3) goes from Nevsky Prospekt (Gostiny Dvor station) to Vasilevsky Island (Vasileostrovskaya station). From there it’s maybe a 10 minutes walk to market.
Thank you as always for the videos. How popular in Russia is cider? I know ciders are made in the northern parts of Europe but I rarely hear anything from Russia about them.
Yes, all can be eat hands, even soup (if there is no other exit, haha), but why??? For us, such concepts as "Hygiene" and "Good Upbringing" are not empty words. In Russia, we are used to use Cutlery for food.
No comparison! So much tastier than quesadillas. Quesadilla is made with COOKED tortillas and cooked filling. For chudu they use raw dough and raw meat filling. Therefore edges are not open but pinched together very tightly so that meat juices do not come out when chudu is baked. It is like a very thin meat/cheese pie. Also they do not use lard in chudu dough therefore bread part is not chewy but very soft. Look for chudu recipies on youtube. Also Sergey compared chudu to cheburek. The difference is that cheburek is smaller and is deep fried.
Again a very nice video of an interesting place Sergey. But you should consider putting some link to Google Maps/Yandex Maps in the description if you show us such places. That would make it much easier to find them when in SPB.
There's too much to see in St Petersburg. There's no way I will be able to get to the market, because we'll have no time for it and that's so sad. Oh well, that just means we'll have to come back later.

Sergey, that place you mentioned (I can't pronounce it or even spell it) is that the city not far from North Korea? And it is accessible by the Trans Siberian Railway?
Wow! Fake news rule! I feel sorry for brainwashed people. 2nd world? Russia has always been a self sufficient country that is able to produce EVERYTHING without help from outside because it is the biggest country in the world with great natural resources and great, talented, hospitable, resilient people. Russia sent the first satellite, first man and first woman to space. And USA is still dependent on Russia in sending astronauts to space. Russia has the 2nd best army in the world and the most advanced hypersonic weapons no one in the world can compete with so far. The ONLY country constructing nuclear powered ice-breakers able to break thickest Arctic ice is Russia. Russia is leading in the world wheat export. Go check Wikipedia for all Russian innovations. Yes, there have been dark periods in history of Russia and may be even more than in history of other countries. Russia suffered from constant invasions in the past. Russia sacrificed almost 30 million people to save the world from Nazis. Was robbed by the West in 1990s. Each time it takes a lot of efforts to rise almost from ashes. Doubt that any other so-called "1st world" country is capable to survive under the same circumstances.
@@nataliak2693 I'm not saying Russia is a 2nd world country, I'm just saying that from what I hear about Russia (the negatives) does not contrast what Sergey shows through his videos. It looks like a 1st world country that looks very hospitable, maybe better than the US.
@@owainkanaway8345 Do not worry, in Russia there is a media that consider the United States is a 102nd world country, standing on the threshold of financial Armageddon
@Mor Dor Yeah Russia is actually considered a 2nd world country in technical terms, although the list is definitely odd, they have the Philippines and south africa a 1st world country. But yes when people bash Russia they call it a 3rd country with 3rd world living conditions, people are mean, it's underdeveloped, etc.
Owen Kanaway There are regions in Russia that resemble deteriorating Detroit or South side of Chicago, for example. With high crimes, bad roads, poor infrastructure etc etc. St. Petersburg is a large metropolitan. Money are invested in big Russian cities. Just like in USA. And yes, Russians are quick to judge and quite stubborn, but that comes from the years of hardship, wars, political turmoils, oppression. People are not easily trusting and sometimes not very friendly. But at heart we are very loving, caring and kind. When we get to know you and you are a cool person, the friendship for life is guaranteed. You’re going to be pampered loved and appreciated. Also, please understand, Russians are very proud of what we are, what we have achieved, what we gave to the world and continue giving to the world. We protect our identity. We are family oriented people. We love our country and our culture. The sense of pride in our blood is probably more elevated than in other nations. There is plenty good, the bad and ugly in Russia, but lots what people hear in the West about us is pure political propaganda, perpetuated by wealthy and powerful for decades. I can tell you for certainty that majority of what you hear about Russia and Russian people is bullocks. Come to Russia and experience it for yourself. I can assure you, you won’t leave disappointed :)
Sorry Sergey, I'm gaining way to much watching these food presentations.................have to hold off, no cuisine for me only touring, walking, hiking, historiical sight seeing vids.............. :0)
If you were a little more careful , you would see that most of the inscriptions are duplicated in Russian, so it is necessary under the law of the Russian Federation on advertising. In addition, Russian schools learn foreign languages using the Latin alphabet (now 2 languages) - education in Russia is free, universal and compulsory since the 20s of the last century. So most Russians, except the most ancient, are able to read Latin and understand the meaning when it's proper names Indian food, etc.
Alx Trendy one more victim of anti-Russian propaganda who consider as "real Russia" only deep rural villages with drunkards and small stores in an old Soviet-era buildings. No wonder such a modern market in refreshed Russian Empire-era historical buildings screws their brain off. They just can't and won't believe it. Though after all it's just a market. But they are thinking we still have mostly 70's-like bazaars with only babooshkas there. All the rest is propaganda.
