I'm a recovering bulimic & still struggle a bit with Orthorexia, so it's just fascinating to me to see what these women put their bodies. I've sometimes wished I could eat the things they do with the same disregard.
See I overindulge with tamales bc my family makes them only like a few times a year but that’s it. I just eat tamales with no sides bc I want that to fill me up, and after 3/4 MAYBE 5, I’m done lol

A lot of berries are sour. I live in Germany, I don't know the english names but we have some varieties of very sour berries here. But the food Industry breeds fruits that have more and more sugar and less aromatics, most people don't like the old foods because they have a more intense aroma but less sweetness.

You can make your own parmesan crackers by putting a circle of the cheese in a cast iron pan and then either broil it in the oven or cook it until it melts completely on the stovetop. It’s not that tasty to me, but my husband is cutting carbs and needs food options that are very low carb.

It is interesting to me that neither appear to crave really good food. They both live on fast food, highly processed convenience foods, and foods with few nutritious ingredients. If I wanted to become morbidly obese like them, I’d be eating homemade creamy soups, homemade pasta bakes with lots of delicious cheeses, stir fries with noodles or rice, quality pizza I make myself, super premium ice cream, and more. I wouldn’t waste my time on packaged noodles or fast food burgers. So why are they always choosing low quality, cheaply made foods? Is it really what they like best?

They don't "like" the d***s, they NEED it & they like the feeling when they've had it, they're body craves it, it won't be satisfied until it gets it. I think Amberlynn was more honest about what she ate in a day when she was younger and just ate what she wanted with none of the psycho babble. This must have been when she was trying to pretend that she had binge eating disorder. She was eating exactly what she had always eaten, the same stuff she always showed us in her shopping cart with no problem, she just started adopting the BED lingo she picked up from people really diagnosed with that. Before she just happily called the same food her evening snack. She does have issues because she continues to eat much more than her body needs until she gets to the higher end of her preferred range, then she quietly cuts back a little and loses down to the lower end of her range, lather rinse repeat in an endless teeter totter cycle. The dieting is all for content. She can still eat large amounts of food and candy at her size and steadily lose weight. She likes to overeat even though it is physically uncomfortable. While there can be emotional issues from childhood driving that desire, she can obviously lose weight whenever she wants. But she doesn't really want to get too much smaller and she really likes to eat a lot of food. That maintains her preferred size. She will continue to do this until she has real reason to become smaller and more mobile and more independent. By now the financial motivation may be the most important, since she would not be interesting at 120 lbs. Her size is really all she's got. No skills, talents, knowledge to share and no interest in acquiring any. It's an easy gig, even with the reduced views today. But I think she has good reason to think that if she really normalizes her weight, she will lose her viewers. That isn't true for other UA-camrs, but it is true for her. Her popularity on UA-cam is really a fluke. At the time she started, she was unusual because of her size. That isn't even the case anymore, and there are plenty of super morbidly obese people on UA-cam now who have more to offer besides their size.
Seeing the two in unsanitary conditions, I wonder if no one in the family talks to them and brings them to reality. Seeing them eating like this, especially Amber, gives me anxiety, agony.

In the olden days she would be called a glutton with cheap tastes. She really just enjoys eating. A lot. Not much else seems to interest her. My brother had trouble with his weight and he once said he ate when he was bored. I'm lucky because I'm a stress non-eater and never feel bored. Except when there's a power outage at night and I realize there is really nothing to do in the dark and I have to conserve phone power. Then I just take a nap until the lights come back on. I enjoy sleeping....
The more processed sugars that you eat, the less your tastebuds can detect, so actually by eating processed sugar, you’re making it even harder to eat berries without adding sugar
Agreed. They can easily push it to 5 (1500 calories for 3 meals), 600 (1800 calories for 3 meals) 700 (2100 calories for 3 meals) and STILL lose weight RAPIDLY. Hell, they can even EAT TAKE OUT for those calories for every meal and loose weight. It’s crazy.
@@crabgal it can be a case to case thing for healthy adults although i'm more going off the research (and partial personal experience) that not eating enough (specifically protein and carbs) in the first half of the day can cause more cravings which considering they have binge eating disorder, doesn't exactly set them up for success.

The candy bars are snack or fun size, hence 80 calories each. Eating a six-pack is like eating one or two larger candy bars, which I think tend to be around 250 calories each. Not quite as bad as it sounds and provides at least the possibility of eating less candy at one session without having to save part of a bar.
Pastaronis aren't filling at all. That's why she can easily eat a full box. I only like one flavor (the brocili one with penne pasta), and its such an unsatisfying meal I had to stop buying them because of that.
I liked candybars as a child. I could never finish them so I just shared them. And why is it a Problem to stop eatìng when you are satisfied and just put a half eaten candybar in the fridge? People are getting so lazy that our society is doomed.

He traumatized me by stealing a piece of pizza from my plate (he was a full grown legal adult at the time). I could never save something in the fridge if he liked it. It took me years to get over the pizza trauma. I had to convince myself that the thief was hundreds of miles away and so I didn’t need to eat pizza until bursting but could wrap up slices for the freezer. Sounds ridiculous, but it really was a problem. I’m sure his habits had other effects on me, but I most vividly recall that one. I was actually afraid that later in life, he would want to come live with me and I knew I couldn’t handle it. I needed that distance. Shelf-stable packaged small candy bars could be kept in a safer place. So that may why many people are hesitant to save the rest for later. They can’t rely on it being there later.

I'm lucky because I'm a stress non-eater and never feel bored. Except when there's a power outage at night and I realize there is really nothing to do in the dark and I have to conserve phone power. Then I just take a nap until the lights come back on. I enjoy sleeping....

The more processed sugars that you eat, the less your tastebuds can detect, so actually by eating processed sugar, you’re making it even harder to eat berries without adding sugar

Agreed. They can easily push it to 5 (1500 calories for 3 meals), 600 (1800 calories for 3 meals) 700 (2100 calories for 3 meals) and STILL lose weight RAPIDLY. Hell, they can even EAT TAKE OUT for those calories for every meal and loose weight. It’s crazy.
@@crabgal it can be a case to case thing for healthy adults although i'm more going off the research (and partial personal experience) that not eating enough (specifically protein and carbs) in the first half of the day can cause more cravings which considering they have binge eating disorder, doesn't exactly set them up for success.

The candy bars are snack or fun size, hence 80 calories each. Eating a six-pack is like eating one or two larger candy bars, which I think tend to be around 250 calories each. Not quite as bad as it sounds and provides at least the possibility of eating less candy at one session without having to save part of a bar.
Pastaronis aren't filling at all. That's why she can easily eat a full box. I only like one flavor (the brocili one with penne pasta), and its such an unsatisfying meal I had to stop buying them because of that.
I liked candybars as a child. I could never finish them so I just shared them.

@@CordeliaWagner - fear of other people eating what you’ve saved for yourself…. Really, my brother was the problem for that. He would rapidly eat all leftovers for food he liked. He traumatized me by stealing a piece of pizza from my plate (he was a full grown legal adult at the time). I could never save something in the fridge if he liked it.
It took me years to get over the pizza trauma. I had to convince myself that the thief was hundreds of miles away and so I didn’t need to eat pizza until bursting but could wrap up slices for the freezer. Sounds ridiculous, but it really was a problem. I’m sure his habits had other effects on me, but I most vividly recall that one. I was actually afraid that later in life, he would want to come live with me and I knew I couldn’t handle it. I needed that distance.
Shelf-stable packaged small candy bars could be kept in a safer place.
So that may why many people are hesitant to save the rest for later. They can’t rely on it being there later.
