Hey Tyler, just wanna say I'd absolutely love the 40 videos and 50 streams of Drill Core. These types of games are fun as hell to watch, IMO.

For the mine turret, i think the reason it suggests they go lower on the field is because of their ability to keep stacking mines horizontally. So rather than standing idle like a lot of turrets do when you place them lower, it continues to stack and spread mines, building the damage potential. This also increases their "range" since it seems to place mines further and further as more are placed. At the very least it increases the likelyhood of this, as I think they at least push each other away a little.
I can see this, potentially, working well with lazers before and/or after to stack up enemies and buy time for the mines to build up. If it's viable, i will dub it the lazer-mine sandwich. Bonus points if you pair it with catylist buildings for mines/explosives.

The statement about dome keeper but better, makes me want to buy this, the first 3 play throughs I loved dome keeper, but then it was really repetitive, but if this game is like that but with more content I NEED IT
you might want to consider to make a shortcut in your mining path so your workers can get around underground faster
I wonder if it'd be effective to make like 4 or 5 barracks, max out your miners, and then sell most of them while it's full resource refunding.
I've always wondered if there are games you like that you feel like wouldn't work on the channel.

I think a good upgrade for drill core would be something like a healing worker, and maybe later on a permanent upgrade could be range for turrets instead of just fire rate

I would love to see more of this yes but i do also wanna see you try new buildings. The radar and mining turret sound really useful but you turn them down or just never build them
And with gatherer drones you might even be able to do drone only runs

Old game that is a interesting twist on strategy yet Tower defence-esque Is Majesty and Majesty 2. Wish there was something similar that corrects some of the AI issues from those 2
I mainly play JRPG, Tactics, and Mystery / Detective Visual Novel (eg ace attorney). Platformer and Puzzle occasionally but as I got older, my reaction time is not as good as before. And that's why I watched UA-camr who plays those genre.
Tyler mainly for Puzzle / big brain games
Sifd mainly for Roguelite / Bullet heaven
DF mainly for whatever shts he finds funny lol
I don't watch those that play the same game I played because most of the time, I got turned off by how they play the games 😅

Slower? How? He is not even using one of the game core mechanics, "recycling" buildings. 100% resell value, why have 42 resources bound up in defense during daytime and vice versa?
