Great Teacher, I've been teaching English for almost 25 years , and have never heard or seen such a complete and understandable lesson. Surely will use it with my students.
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
When I was a child, I used to take bunzy jumps. I used to spend time with friends. When I became an adult I used to drink and smoke. But I quit smoking and drinking like five years ago. First I thought it would be difficult to be without drinking and smoking but as the time passed I got used to it. I used to have a lot of friends but now I prefer to be alone and now I'm used to it.
I am used to studying English; now I'm getting used to learning French as well. I would visit the USA every summer, but I didn't use to visit France. Cheers, Ahmad,
Hi Ahmad, I am glad you are used to studying English and getting used to learning French too! So, you would visit the USA when you were younger.... Great! Excellent use of the language! Well done! Keep it up!

what a great lesson! I have a question, though. Is it possible to use WOULD in negative sentences or questions when you talk about past habits? Many textbooks say it isn't. However, I've seen sentences, like', "When I was a kid, I'd never sit around doing nothing".
Hi Sunkara, thanks for your positive feedback. Many more grammar videos to come. What would you like to see? Don't forget to share with your friends!! Thanks again.

Welcome to my channel!
se puede usar wouldn't en lugar de didn't use to ¿?
Hi, thanks for your interesting question.
In the positive:
"When I was a child, I would go to bed on time," means that it was a repeated action in the past.
This means the same as:
"When I was a child, I used to go to bed on time."
However, it is different in the negative.
"When I was a child, I would not go to bed on time," means that I was not willing to go to bed on time. Would here is being used as a modal and is the past simple of will.
Whereas:
"When I was a child I didn't use to go to bed on time," means that I regularly didn't go to bed on time. It was a repeated action in the past.
Hope this helps.👍
