Shivthar Ghal is beautiful and spiritual hotspot which is surrounded all over by the mountains in Varandha Ghat of Mahad Taluka in Raigad district in Maharashtra, India.
It is located on Bhor Mahad road about 20 kms from Mahad, 200 km from Mumbai and 120 kms from Pune.
This is the place where Samarth Ramdas Swami, a Hindhu saint, dictated the famous holy book Dasbodh here in this cave.
The surrounding view is just awesome in monsoon and winter.
