    I think maybe some male/female elasticated bridging, extension clips would be a good addition for the bigger guys.

    I like this style of fanny pack better than the one on the waist.
    My Fanny (waist tactical pouch) bounces to much ...and my waist is getting to big for the straps..lol
    I've seen another fella, using this pack, for his dog walking business....he carried doggy bags, and treats in it....worked great for his needs.

    Great review! I’m a big Brotha and it’s not gonna fit me. Bushcrafter companies need to understand they got an underserved market an 6 more inches of strap would do big thangs. 👍🏾

    Great review. I have the same rig now for about 9 months. Works great and holds a lot of stuff. I use my for geocaching and ham radio work.

    I recently in the last few months got a HPG (runners). Chest pack 85USD . It’s very minimalistic but I didn’t need molle and dividers and stuff like that, it’s for the basics. I’m a fan 💯 of chest packs now, Helikon does some great stuff thanks Wendell enjoy your Sunday

    I use mine as my survival kit in conjunction with my bug out bag. I’ve got the 10 C’s and extras covered in my chest pack so that if I have to drop my pack and be mobile quickly I can get by easily with what’s in my chest pack.

    Cool Vid. I have a Numbat as well. Took 2 months to get it from overseas. Also use a hill people gear. On longer trips i use my original Ribz chest rig that i have had for a few years. I can carry alot of gear in it. Camera, elec, Map, etc.

    Hey, how long will the straps adjust to, if you can somehow measure the distance of chest strap, from buckle to buckle, that would tell me if it fits me. Thank you for great review.

    hey brother, how hard and expensive is the hamm test

    • @ThePreparedWanderer
      @ThePreparedWanderer  3 роки тому

      It’s a moderately hard test but you can take free online practice tests to prepare for it. I can’t remember the cost but it wasn’t too much. Just look around for a local club and see if they are doing a course

    I like tactical gear as much much as the next guy, but come on dude. A radio? Don't call that bushcraft. Bushcraft is walking into the woods with a knife, axe, sleeping/cooking gear and a couple of fish hooks maybe.

    • @Horde334

      Nice gatekeeping your doing there really makes the hobby come off as welcoming to others.

      @@Horde334
      Yeah well, I'm sorry if I offended you. Everybody seems perpetually offended these days. But there is a big difference between the two. One is running through the woods like your ass in on fire. The other is relaxing and taking your time.

    • @Horde334
      @Horde334 3 роки тому +1

      @@arrisdebruin Seems like you can't grasp basic preparedness and the concept of "better safe then sorry" but hey we get it you dont't see the value in modern equipment so keep gate keeping a hobby or quit assuming everyone who responds to you is offended. Do everyone a favor and grow up and act like an adult and think before you speak cause your embarrassing yourself instead.

      @@Horde334
      Yeah, I get the whole thing. I'm a prepper as well. Well prepared, too. And yes, bushcrafting is a hobby of mine. The two are very different, but I have to admit they go hand in hand.

    • @DevDog67
      @DevDog67 Рік тому +1

      It's a part of their "bushcraft" lineup. I don't recollect anyone making a set of rules about what is/isn't bushcraft.
      Bushcraft in itself is just a different way of talking about field skills and basic outdoors knowledge. No one said bushcraft always has to be only leather and canvas items. There's a pretty large crossover of people who are considered bushcraft experts who also promote prepper and tactical knowledge.

    I assume any “holster” with the “hook” side will fit where you have your pistol. Thanks
