I don't want to scapegoat Macca, he's done really well for a while in the middle of the season, but I think he's been off it for long weeks now. Playing him as a DM just shows how utterly exhausted, slow and uninspired he's become. Both him and Endo to be honest, but Endo seems to be holding off better in the last few games.
Fans (or even Jürgen) never seem to blame them though, even when it's directly their mistake that leads to goals like the 2 AV goals have both been on Mac Allister. Other players like Gakpo or Szoboszlai have been crucified for less. Just saying.
I just don't understand all this Szoboszlai out of form nonsense. Every time Dom touches the ball it's amazing to watch. The guy is just something else.

Taking out Endo and deploying Mac Allister in his place was suicidal.Replacing 4 pairs of fresh legs and yet conceding 2 goals in the last 5 minutes clearly shows the problem in this squad.A weak midfield and a leaky defence.They could take a leaf from Atalanta in trying to protect a lead.

@@punchgod as a Liverpool fan, I agree. I mean, yeah, this season wasn't what it could have been. But, considering what happened last season, and that we had to rebuild a lot of our team, I see this as a win! Again, I know it's Klopp's final season, and a carabao cup isn't a good send off, but again, considering where we were just a year ago, this isn't the worst that could have happened.
