    I have three of these in 9mm guns and one in a 42. Mine are the older models and I didn't experience the problems you did. One did have a bit of a hang-up with the trigger safety catching on the frame during take-up but a pass with a file solved that without compromising any of the safety features.

      Are you referring to the agency ? If so seems some people do really well with them and others no so much. I got mine in my nomad build right now and with a special iroc slide it's amazing, other slides same hang up

    Love the Johnny Glock Combat triggers using the Apex trigger shoe. I have them on 4 of my glocks, from Gen 3 to Gen 5, and they are extremely consistent and predictable. Nice reduced take up and reset. Crisp break. Passes all safety checks. They are pricey, especially when factoring the price of the Apex trigger shoe. But they are extremely safe and you get what you pay for.

    Great video on Glock Triggers, I did had a Glock 19 Gen 4 with a Apex red trigger. Traded it for Sig Sauer P30 X Compact. It was a great trigger and fun to shoot, have a zev trigger flat face installed in my Glock 19 Gen 5. I only one STRYKOUT Gen 3-4 Flat Face Trigger Shoe Red, installed in my Glock 30 Gen 4 using the original trigger bar. All the rest of my Glocks have the Rock my Gock Triggers installed. After viewing your video, want to try the triggers you reviewed. Again great informative video!!!

    Good video guy, I'm not a fan of after market Glock any thing except for a set of sight. But I might be interested on $59 Overwatch one. The problem with Apex triggers are they make the trigger reach too long. I think it's crazy to spend over $100 on a set of trigger on a $500 gun.

    Could you tell me which triggers are best for shortening the trigger reach for a Glock 19. I have small hands and find it difficult to shoot double stack Glocks. I had a G19 gen 4 and liked it but got rid of it because my finger would slip off when shooting fast. I can shoot single stacks really well like the G42, G43, Sig P365, Kahr PM9 and so on but want a Glock 19 Gen 4 or 5.

      Most flat faced designs will likely help with that due to not having that crazy forward arch to them. I really like the FACTR, which i just did a video on and the overwatch. I think the FACTR is a better value for the gen 3 and 4 models because it is a full kit and feels really smooth. Here is the video on that. tacticalconsiderations.com/factr-glock-trigger-kit/

I've worked on Glocks for years after being fed up with slam firing. When I had enough I put my oem back together and found my safety plunger was tore up pretty bad I polished an it's doing great in Glock. Do u think the plunger was the problem with the p80. I've literally done everything but I can't give up. Will the plunger cause slam fire (full auto)

I dont feel comfortable in changing anything on my EDC pistols. But, this STK100. Fun range pistol build. Id love to install a magwell on this STK100. Having no luck on a company that offers one. Interesting can you explain when and how this is occurring. Under love or dry fire.
      Couple quick things.
      Was the connector lubed at the trigger bar interface
      What connector are you using
      Have you double checked the return spring in the trigger block. If this gets canted on re install it causes issues.

      The stamping is different along the sides, which is to make it more rigid. If you look at the different trigger bars you can see an evolution in them to reduce flex to the sides. If you unload and clear your glock you can actually feel and some times visually see the side of the frame flex as press the trigger when you look down at it from the side.

    I think I'd like a trigger with a smooth/resistance-less/minimal travel to a hard wall, solid break, and almost resets itself. I want the gun ready for a followup shot before I am. That tactical pontoon trigger seems to be it, with the steel city coming close (i see a bit of travel back to the reset with steel city).
    Anything I missed? Good idea?

    • @TacticalConsiderations
      @TacticalConsiderations  3 роки тому

      all depends on how aggressive you want to go with it. Short and light is not always the best, especially in self defense . The hard wall for me is a must trigger prep can be very consistent and with that wall you know what the line in the sand is

      What's your opinion/preference on travel back to the trigger reset?
      I been re-watching people manipulate the trigger of the cz p10c, and the reset on that is something I want replicated in an aftermarket trigger. The best I could do is eyeball it, but you've been hands on. Got a suggestion?

    • @TacticalConsiderations
      @TacticalConsiderations  3 роки тому

      Honestly reset if possible should be as short as can be. Slack is generally a product of striker fired trigger design. I say generally because some sa/da stuff has really long triggers . The hard wall shirt reset is the key while allowing room for a trigger shoe safety to do its job
