An ensemble of great versatility especially with Radaslava and also the soprano who also plays violin( who's name I cannot find). You and the other Baroque ensembles have been a godsend these last couple of years. Thank you so much.
Caldara. I have listened to his Confitebor countless times. Phenomenal. Not as good as Pergolesi’s (but then, what is?). Caldara is so much warmer than his Venice contemporary Vivaldi. He never misses a note. You can listen to this from beginning to end and start over from the beginning and never get tired. There is another performance by Collegium 1704 of this same work, just as important. There are 1783 views when I write. And there are millions of views of Vivaldi. I think it should be the other way around. I am not necessarily trying to be critical of Vivaldi. But he sometimes mistakes a violin for a chainsaw. This ensemble is making world history. The music is world class. The orchestra is world class. The soloists are world class. There is something totally disgusting about the history of western music. But change is coming as Italian settecento music aims to achieve UNESCO Heritage status. Still working on it. Stay tuned. The Manifesto Pergolesi Primavera 2022 should be available soon. Leo Depuydt
hai ragione caro Leo,però Vivaldi se lo merita mi sembra un compositore quasi completo nelle opere esistenti,mo non sappiamo quante altre si nascondono ancora da scoprire,ma a me da una carica ed emozione in ogni opera che ascolto di Antonio,come me le da Leonardo Leo,Porpora,Durante,Feo,i due Scarlatti,Caldara,a dimenticavo un certo Pergolesi,haha saluti spero tutto ok per te.ah ho scoperto un certo Bononcini con la conversione di Maddalena che cosa magnifica!!!!!
Maestro Predrag Gosta,deve assolutamente eseguire la conversione di Maddalena del grande maestro Giovanni Bononcini(lui era un grande e la sua musica barocca e piena di dramma,gioia,è magnifica),spero un giorno che la eseguiste,sembra fatta per voi tutti.
Complimenti, siete davvero bravi! Se posso fare un appunto, devo dire che la pronuncia della lingua italiana è problematica, non si capisce il testo che viene cantato! Sugli strumenti nulla da dire, è un piacere ascoltarvi.
