i don't even really wear make up, only mascara, but i still LOVE to watch your videos , because they inspire me to try new stuff, with my clothing or hairstyles or something! thank you for that! x
Hi Lisa, I love that you use a mix of products in your tutorials. It shows that you appreciate good products no matter what the price - also a mark of a great makeup artist!!
@TheLoveandy I saw you are in the States...maybe they have structured the blushers differently there? It definitely exists here in the UK but I know ranges can differ greatly from country to country x
oh how I love your video's. its so refreshing to see you in the beginning without a stitch of make-up on...and watch the whole process Lovely look Lisa Diana
Lisa, I must say I'm absolutely impressed with how talented you are. Your talent and your radiant personality make you so pleasant to watch and a role model to follow. Thank you.
@supersozin the Shu goat brush is best for 'buffing' foundation on, so its particularly good if you are using a thinner liquid foundation and your skin is not flaky/dry. The other brush which looks exactly like the No7 is the Chanel one. The Estee Lauder foundation brush is also a very good 'flat' one x.
@PinkRambles You could try Mac Face and Body foundation for a natural look as it feels super light but gives a polished finish. If you hate shimmery shadows use either matte or demi matte ones (revlon, bobbi brown and Laura Mercier make good matte shadows). I cant tell if eye bright is good for you without seeing you. Try it and see.. it may work well x
@virginiecherie thanks! This is a long subject that would be impossible to answer properly here. I will make a video about this when I get time...as many people have asked for advice x
@krasseskifahrerin yes it is 'lively' as I say in the intro. I'm always a sucker for a brick/coral shade! Great that you are adapting it for your taste though...I love that x
Just use foundation (one especially for oily skin) on the centre of your face and blend it to nothing before you get to your dry cheeks. You probably dont need to put it all over anyway.... I very rarely apply it all over my face. You could always put a little tight tinted moisturiser on you cheeks if you felt they needed coverage. X
@spitzmaus1979 I do try to use a good mix of high end and budget. I'm definitely going to be doing some high street/drugstore only looks soon as well. Really happy you are enjoying my videos : ) x
@misscherry195 its great that you are already thinking how you can adapt it to suit you and your style/needs. I love that! It shows me that my videos are working as I would like them to. Thanks for commenting x
I really LOVE how you carry yourself & the makeup you do .. it's natural, effortless & classy.. It really enhances your beauty rather than make you a completely different person.. I would love it if you done a video of easy everyday makeup for women of color specially black women.. I really want to see your take on it.. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE
She's got a number of videos on her channel with women of colour- an Indian one and a couple with black women. Do check them out as they're all lovely models and Lisa's interaction with them is lovely.
Hi Lisa! I've surfed the web for a year now learning a lot from every single one of your videos and I've learnt to have fun trying the looks for work and start looking profesional. I'm from a little town in México and I really admire you 'causet you are a real artist. I've seen how you transform a woman (with all her natural beauty) in a gorgeous woman. Thanks for letting the world to know how to feel a little bit more confident with a sofisticated look that doesn't make me feel like a clown.
I don't know why, but I've watched this video more than ten times. Must be because every time I learn something new, and your videos are edited perfectly and you are so well spoken.
You are STUNNING! I could listen to you teach all day…in fact since I found your videos, I have been listening all day. You are inspiring and a professional. I love your work and I could only hope that one day I could be lucky enough to have you do my makeup. Until then I will be a devoted fan and student.
@Alinjonok thanks for sending the link to all your friends! I Thanks for the tip...will look at the site you mentioned. I'm pleased you like my films x
You are such an outstanding role model Lisa! You are very professional, knowledgeable, classy, graceful & glamourous yet down to earth & plain speaking at the same time. Although I am much older than you, when watching your videos I feel like I am having a conversation with a dear friend who shares my passion for makeup & has so much to teach me. All we need is coffee and chocolate after a day of shopping together & it would be perfect! Thank you Lisa Donna xoxo
@beautybudget88 a lot of people dont like silicone and as many primers contain it (as do most foundations, cosmetics and skincare) they feel they are bad for you. I disagree and dont have a problem with it (unless you are allergic) I think its fine. My reasons are too long to go into here. Maybe I'll do a film about that at some point x
@MLEvlog Thank you. My channel and website are completely independent...I dont take any payment from any companies in exchange for reviewing/using their products. I onlu use what I genuinely like and If I dont like something...I just dont use it! x
dear lisa, besides these brilliant tutorials, i just love the setting! the light and backround always are perfect! thank you for that! it really sets the focus on what this is all about - make up! x
I am super excited that you use E.L.F. products. E.L.F. is one of my favorite brands and it feels awesome to know that I use some of the same products (in different colors since I super fair) as a famous makeup artist.
Great to get tips from someone else with combination skin. It's so hard to find makeup that lasts but isn't too drying. I'm inspired to get some powder foundation and use it for mattifying and to take out for extra coverage! Thank you Lisa! :) x
I love all of your tutorials. Your skills are so very beautiful. As are the results. Every look seems to capture the mood that you are striving for. The videos have helped expand my skills with application, as well as using color to express my individual tastes. Thank you for having this channel.
Ahhh, this is at least 15 times I've watched this video. You voice, face, talks and everything sooth me and LOVE the look. Thank you so much for being YOU!!! I love you from Canada.
I've been looking at a whole range of your videos for the last couple of days and I must say I am really enjoying every minute of them. Such a great look, simple yet polished and natural. I must learn to do my brows properly.:) I never wore make up because I simply did not know how to apply it and half of the time did not know what to buy and for what. Thank God for UA-cam, the Internet and dedicated people like Yourself.
This is just brilliant. I can't wait to go to work to do this look. Thank you so much for this and all your great and inspiring videos. They are such great mood lifter on top of being incredibly informative and helpful. I can't thank you enough. Please keep up the impartiality with products as well. This is so rare if not unique. Can't wait to get my hands on that Nars lipstick as well.
@emmalouise55555 I know what you mean its difficult as many brands dont cater. My favourite pale skin range used to be Nina Ricca but they are discontinued : ( Clinique have some good much paler shades in their range now (depending which country you live)...worth a look maybe as easy to find. x
Gorgeous, I really enjoy the way you explain things and use products from different price brackets. I'm working on my eyebrow technique and just spotted a tip in your this vid that I think will really help me. I'm off to search your other vids to see if you have a dedicated eyebrow tutorial. Thank you!
I thought to use concealer just to lighten dark circles and do not cover pimples. I have indeed heard that with the spotty concealer only further highlights ... super great video! x
Love your videos Lisa. I feel inspired each time I watch. Great tips and advice on the products you come across and I like your candidness. Thanks from Australia.
@JolieBlossom Boots no.7 is a brand, that I think, sadly is only sold in the uk although I might be wrong. You can get similar brushes from nearly every company. Its mac equivilant would be the 190.
Hi Lisa. I love your videos. I love that u use minimal products for each look, unlike some videos where they use tons of colours on the eyes and stuff.. Do you have any tips on doing eye make up for downward eyes? Thank u. xx
Hi Lisa, absolutely gorgeous and super helpful as usual! Like the others said, you rock at creating flawless skin and I love that you mix and match brands - thanks so much for sharing your brilliant skills with us! xxxxxxxxxx
Love your videos. What would you suggest for a sort of invisible foundation or tinted moisturizer for dry, pale skin that needs a good bit of coverage? Most things I try are very obvious on my face, and I'm a fan of a more natural "I haven't done anything" look. I've tried mostly MAC, Josie Maran and Revlon stuff. Not too expensive and available in the US would be ideal. Thanks!
Hello Lisa! I hope you enjoyed your vacation, and I'm so glad to see your new video! You look so lovely and sophisticated in this make up. I really do envy how beautiful you are. In any case I wanted try out the Natural Finish foundation you are suggesting here, but I have dry to combination skin. During the winter my chin can potentially even flake! Since it is an oil free, more matte finish foundation, would you still say its suitable for me?
Your before and after shots always "wow" me, it looks like you you're about 10 years younger in the after! You look fantastic Lisa! Thanks for this more work-approppriate look, will look for that eyeshadow during my next shopping, it's lovely :)
Hi Lisa you always give great ideas and looks.Your opinion is always trustworthy and I was wondering how the bobbi brown natural finish compares to the new burberry foundation?
Hi Lisa, you are by far one of the best make up artists on youtube. I was wondering if you could do a video about make up for darker skin tone? Thank you so much! Kisses from Belgium
This is such a great, easy look. I love make-up, but I'm also very lazy and worry that I have the kind of facial features (like an anime cartoon, as one nephew not-so-inaccurately put it) that don't look well with a lot of make-up on, so I'm always looking for simple looks where I look polished but not overly made-up. I really liked this. And I love your braid! So pretty and chic!
Hi Lisa, I absolutely love this work/college look. You addressed all the questions I could possibly ask and you are so right this is polished and professional yet very far from boring, thank you so much. PS: I have the EYKO mascara and I adore it best budget mascara in my opinion, and it has improved my lashes no end. Much health and happiness :) xx
Thanks Lisa. That is my fav aqua cream. I used to have to get a theater eye liner and smear it as eyeshadow to get that shade. Anyways. Thanks for showing me how to apply it using a 217 rather then fingers.
Hi lisa, I watch your videos religiously and I love the fact that you use such a wide range of brands! Would it be possible to see a video of your makeup collection and storage? Thank you. x
Hi dear Lisa, you use elf concealer and I like to order some lipstick and other staff from their website I was wondering if you use elf lipstick and other makeup and you suggest it?? also when you curle your lash you said it will last all day but when I curle my lashes it last just minte and after I aply mascara dosent look I ever curle, any tips for that I will like, and at last love your hair style beside your makeup we like try your hair style also at work if you can show us. thanks
Hi Lisa, this is a look I will definetly do for work, but, I was wondering if you could recommend an eyeshadow colour similar to the Make Up Forever one that you used that we can get in the UK? I find that Make Up Forever is so hard to get here x
I love the way your hair always looks, is it a simple look to achieve? I would really appreciate if you could share any tips you may have for busy collage girls! hair is always my greatest challenge! :) thank you....your videos are really helpful!
Your videos are so helpful. I enjoy watching all of them. I am learning so much. I will be 40 next year (feellng 20). Is it appropriate to wear highlights on the cheeks even though I have a few wrinkles?
I love how in all your looks you never skip any steps so that we can see the transformation better..This one is useful and beautiful! xoxo
i don't even really wear make up, only mascara, but i still LOVE to watch your videos , because they inspire me to try new stuff, with my clothing or hairstyles or something!
thank you for that! x
Hi Lisa, I love that you use a mix of products in your tutorials. It shows that you appreciate good products no matter what the price - also a mark of a great makeup artist!!
You and Wayne Goss are absolutely the most amazing artists on youtube!
@TheLoveandy I saw you are in the States...maybe they have structured the blushers differently there? It definitely exists here in the UK but I know ranges can differ greatly from country to country x

its so refreshing to see you in the beginning without a stitch of make-up on...and watch the whole process

in my pro kit for jobs yes I do. In my own make up bag I use them a few times If I'm doing the same look x
@hash2xxx pro is best for normal to combination skin and matte is best for oilier skin so in your situation i would suggest Pro x
@HoonaBanoona I LOVE statement lips on pale skins...you should give it a go. Try a sheer texture first to ease yourself into it x
@bosschickita if you want to change from mac you could have a look at Bobbi Brown...their shades are really good x
@spitzmaus1979 I do try to use a good mix of high end and budget. I'm definitely going to be doing some high street/drugstore only looks soon as well. Really happy you are enjoying my videos : ) x

@marymarj Its a medium coverage foundation x
@misscherry195 its great that you are already thinking how you can adapt it to suit you and your style/needs. I love that! It shows me that my videos are working as I would like them to. Thanks for commenting x

I actually don't hear the kids screaming and having fun. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your professional advice with us!
@kotong716 its a good concealer. The Secret Camo I often use from LM is denser than the ELF one but I like both x
I love how detailed and professional your tutorials are, thanks so much for making them!

This is one of my favorite looks, so pretty and classy!
Thanks!
I feel like I’m a slave to my eyeliner and have no idea how to look polished without it! How do you look so glam with just mascara????

Loved it. I think I need that cream shadow. (Reminds me a bit of Bobbi Brown Galaxy cream shadow, which I used to have.) Thanks!
Only seeing how different a face looks with just foundation it´s amazing.
This is one of those exceptionally lovely looks on you! Beautiful!
Lisa would the aqua cream eyeshadow color that you used look good for medium/dark skin tones or would you recommend a different shade? LOVED the look!
yaaay glad ur back lisa. I'm looking forward to a trendy fall look.
I just bought this aqua cream and It's gorgeous !! But everything looks gorgeous on you Lisa ...
I love this look. Do you think this look would look good on an olive complexation, with black eye colour?
Those aqua cremes look great! I love this! Flawless!
Hi Lisa, this is a look I will definetly do for work, but, I was wondering if you could recommend an eyeshadow colour similar to the Make Up Forever one that you used that we can get in the UK? I find that Make Up Forever is so hard to get here x

Your videos are so helpful. I enjoy watching all of them. I am learning so much. I will be 40 next year (feellng 20). Is it appropriate to wear highlights on the cheeks even though I have a few wrinkles?
