just played this with my jazz band and the trombone solo is to die for
i played the solo and it was so fun to play
I am usually a happy 3rd trombone (we get fun tunes like afternoon) but this just makes me want to be 1st trombone so bad
So glad I’m first trombone
I just finished sophomore year where I play and that was my first time playing solos my my director reserved this one for my senior year and I can't wait!
ong same. its so good
I had to do that carry and play 4th and 1st trombone
Carlos Perez ayyy where my bass bone at
trombone gang
Ggs bro trumpet better tho frfr
Awesome trombone is amazing
@@Ckruser814drums better
My fellow 9th graders played this last year as 8th graders and they loved it❤
This is a great arrangement, did a solo on tenor sax with this.
Hello fellow tenor sax. Don’t see many of you around anymore
I'm a tenor Sax and I'm making a solo for this, I have 4 days till our concert
name checks out
Fellow tenor sax here, I just recently did my first solo for this is a freshman, fakin terrifying
Also how do you guys not just squeak a lot at the D to C sharp part 😭
This song is awesome, doing it with a high school jazz band that I’ll go to next year with our jazz band so a combined concert which is cool tbh
I remember playing this in jazz band and stopped when quarantine started, came back to listen to this almost a year later and the song still slaps
Our old jazz band worshiped this song. But fun fact: We all still secretly do.
Also funnest set song I’ve ever played
That dislike is from someone who can't drive.
there are 4 dislikes now! I just noticed when you said that
Lol🤣
XD
Back when we could see dislikes 🥲
Screw you for that comment a lot of us can’t see the road all that well
Played this two years in a row and got both trombone solos for it both years 😂🤙🏼
Played this chart in middle school; it’s a pretty epic chart
Sniker Chiken, I played this chart back in Middle School as well. Those years were a pretty rough time for me, but being in jazz band was one of my best memories of that time.
Same here. Played trumpet one year and electric bass another
I’m playing it in Jazz band, I’m an alto saxophone
I love this song so much, playing it at a concert in two days. Piano gang lets go!!
pog song and even more pog for drumset
My middle school played this and it’s the most amazing thing ever period. The solos were amazing
My favorite chart we did in jazz ensemble
Ima be playing this next year and I’m excited
Got this today for jazz band. LOVE IT SO MUCH.
One of my favorite songs to play for my schools marching band
this chart is amazing
reminds me of providence kids
We finna play this in our high school jazz band along with night and day, and second line sadie. This song slaps so hard i love it
this song absolutely slaps
man the nostalgia is real with this one.....
This song will be played in the car when I get my license
Would love to play this with my jazz band!
hot. damn.
lmao
hell. yeah
I played this last year in stage band. Alto sax here!
I really hope I can get to do pep band this winter. This is one of my favorites
Play at 1.25x speed, it’s more accurate to how most bands play it
You're not wrong. 😂
*plays double speed*
I’d say like 1.15 is more accurate. 1.25 is slightly too fast, but yeah most bands play it a lot faster.
My jazz band played this at a masterclass/clinic once, and we were out of time so we played it 1.25x
1:39 yeah the trombone solo is cool and all, but HOW ABOUT THOSE SNAZZY TROMBONE DROPS?!?!
legendary.
Love this song❤❤❤❤❤
Played it on Vibraphone 2 years ago, and now im playing it on flute 😄
Friend just sent this to me, I said "wow this sounds like the start of a 70's detective/cop show"
Nice ❤❤❤
the jazz band i was in recently performed this song again and we had multiple solos with our little variation for this song. i almost punched one of my friends in the face out of sheer excitement and energy LOL
I just played this in Wall intermediate 7th-8th grade jazz band
playing this in my schools jazz band and im gonna get to play that trombone solo at the end it sounds so good! just gotta work on getting that gritty tone
I played this in middle school jazz band and it was the best song we played
Idk why But I really like the Part when the 1st Trumpet Part Slurs the half notes from a D to a C Sharp
We are doing this for our jazz band at school it's gonna be fire
1:47
listen im playing this in middle school and obvi this professional recording is nothing to hold our not-so-merry group of 6, 7, and 8th graders to but god do we suck compared to this 😭
playing this for middle school jazz band this song is such a ✨bop✨
This is a banger
this on alto is so fun
I'm 1st tenor sax for this in my jazz band.
The Bari Sax solo in my group was elite
Ah, yes. Gonna Fly Now.
I am playing this on tenor one only 3 days after GETTING my tenor so this song is absolutely terrible but I love
Anyone got any way to help me go this night for the solo on 1:48 because I want to do this improvisation but I can’t play that high
good ass composition
Can’t believe I barely found this gem
The “optional” guitar is playing louder than the entire trumpet section somehow
Yeah. I got to play this with my jazz band and I just cranked my amp up and nobody cared.
Can you please upload the Vehicle arrangement by Paul Jennings 🙏
For the trombone solo, does anyone have the sheet music for the part that's not written out. Like measures 50-60?
It sounds like the guy playing is doing improv so probably not:(
I've looked at other recordings of Vehicle (performed by high school bands) and they do the same thing the trombone player in this recording so Idk if there's a sheet or they just experiment on how to play it
@@harrison9239 I transcribed it once back in 2017 so I could play it for my band but I don’t think there’s any actual sheets for it, it was just improv’ed . I think I still have the transcription somewhere if you want it but I think some parts might not be 100% accurate bc it’s hard to hear clearly in places
@@chief2632 any way you could send me the transcription?
Saxes in my band had to blow like never before, I know cuz i blew
🤨
played this in 8th grade tpt 1
Jack P-W hey same
Same but 7th grade
This makes me miss them a lot :(( ... good song tho lol
my friend (first trumpet) is going to play a double high d on the first note of the second measure he better not screw it up in the concert
Anyone who says this song isn't a Bop needs to leave before I leak there adress
*their
I’m playing drums and we’re using a singer.
Anyone else play tenor sax?
Great Song! The tempo of this song needs to be faster! Come on, drive that vehicle!
Can you play the solo for tenor sax to?
I mean I think they read the same range? You might have to transpose a bit because I don't think they read notes the same
Arranged by Ralph Ford....
gotta play the trombone solo in about 2 hours give me luck
How’d it go man? I’m learning it right now too, any tips?
Eventually, composers will write the Bass Trombone part in the pedal range for a whole piece.
played this in 2nd grade jazz band
You had jazz band in second grade? Luck
Nice Arrangement. Fun. But could be just a tad faster.
