So Bert and Arry are either rare spooky ghost diesels or criminals lurking around the scrap yard unaffiliated with the people who manage it. Just another mystery in the island of Sodor
Damn I could hear the panic in Stepney’s voice right before the claw could grab him. Really good narration. Also the fact that Arry and Bert act on their own terms rather than being owned by anyone? They’re just straight up serial killers my god.
6:13 I was concerned about the machine stopping. I could hear revving noises from the claw's engine. Then, it charged towards Stephany puncturing his boiler and started ripping him apart. It then put his remains in the smelting pit leaving no trace of him behind, and then the video just ends. This was the most messed up UA-cam video I have ever seen. Shed 17 and Project G-1 are pretty disturbing, but both movies combined stand a chance against this one scene. Arry and Bert got off scot free, and he's never mentioned again. What have you been drinking other than water while making this!?
That Twist at the end! - i was half expecting the usual "i will sir" but that's a great twist.... and the fact it's been going on for years, means that Sir Topham has a mystery to solve?? And allows you to the ability to add a scrapyard steam or diesel apart from Bert & Harry..... I can't wait how you are going to explain this twist.... Also the story is far more enjoyable than the original, as it actually is far more in depth.
Having more scrapyard diesels besides Harry and Bert would be pretty interesting, and it has been done a few times before. In a fan-made Season 5 style episode called “Framed”, an Ironworks diesel named Gary gets Mavis in trouble by hiding some fuel tankers that she delivered, but when he tried the same trick on Thomas, he was caught in the act and punished. Gary is usually portrayed as looking identical to the Ironworks twins, but in one adaptation, he was replaced with Diesel 10. In a 3 part audio story called “Obsolete”, which serves as a redemption arc for Harry and Bert, the Ironworks starts scrapping diesels, much to the shock and horror of the twins, and they start sneaking off to work at the quarry with Mavis every once in a while, resulting in the manager having to buy an extra diesel named Clive, who turns out to be even more malicious and cold-hearted than the twins used to be.
Amazing rewrite and adaptation I loved it! Also, that ending with Arry and Bert was so creepy I was hoping you'd do something with your hc of Arry and Bert so that was great to see
Another breathtaking video, quite a splendid rewrite of a series 5 episode to have more story potential and Emily making a role too despite her first appearing in Series 7.
I have never been a big fan of the original story but I really like this take of it. I love the little segment of the diesel telling Stepney that a lot of diesels would like to scrap him, while not a perfect explanation as to why Arry and Bert want to scrap Stepney, it's better than nothing
'Arry & Bert not owned by the Ironworks and lurk in the shadows while the manager isn't looking? Sounds pretty cool. Would've made sense as the only time they'll ever appear instead of being recurring characters in S6 onwards.
That is one clever cliffhanger. I don't think the Iron Twins are ghosts. But are engines sent to Sodor undercover by a certain engine that has the same motives.
Narrator: Stepney The Bluebell Engine got into the wrong place to go home, he was in the smelter's scrapyard, instead of going back to the sheds. Stepney looked nervously up to the grabber. It was coming down while Arry and Bert watched it. Arry: Bye Stepney!!!!! Stepney talking nervously to the grabber: I am not meant to be scrapped. Bert: It's too late now, the grabber has already gotten to you to be broken up, and all you have to do is prepare for the end. Narrator: Then, Sir Topham Hatt arrived at the smelter's scrapyard, and he turned off the grabber. Now the grabber stopped. Sir Topham Hatt feeling cross: Stepney The Bluebell Engine!!!!! You should be so lucky that I visited this smelter's scrapyard!!!!! Didn't I tell you to go back home to your sheds at dark time!!!!! How many times did I tell you not to go into the smelter's scrapyard!!!!!! Stepney: There's no place like home Sir Topham Hatt: Exactly
why is topham scolding stepney and not arry n bert? fair he should have asked about the late night delivery but it WAS the signalman who sent him there & breaking regulations by leaving a green signal instead of red one, as for arry and bert i imagine topham had some ”choise words” to say to those 2 about illegaly scrapping a preserved vehicle.

my theory is that they work for diesel 10 on the other railway after splodge quit on him.

It's implied they are Sodors Grim Reapers with them being called the Grim Messengers Of Doom in promo material for season 5 of Thomas & Friends
I wonder how it would impact the series if they stuck to that idea?
@@claytonveno3710really? Do you know where I could find that?

Whoops! Accidentally added this to replies.
'Arry & Bert aren't owned by the Ironworks? What a twist! Bet they've been hiding in the shadows when the manager ain't looking.
I don’t know how he wouldn’t have found for so long. Maybe it’s for reasons that are more unnatural...

It appears to me that Arry and Bert have some explaining to do. Can't wait to see a video explaining that!
I think they are demons because they call them self The grim messengers of doom
I know! What an interesting twist!
Bert* lol
At first I thought they were ghosts when the manager said he had no diesels, but maybe they're just "squatters". Strange.
@@iMiss2019 Oh, thanks. I just fixed that.
Wow. What an adaptation and rewrite to this.
That ending. I had a feeling it's based on your thoughts when you talked about it. Well done here.

If Arry and Bert are not the scrapyard's own diesels, then what are they, and where did they come from?...
Hearing Stepney's theme reminds me of how so many character themes in this show are such bops.

Arry and Bert are ghost omg
Amazing work Rhen!

Amazing job with this Rhen
Finally!!! How interesting, as always!!!
It seems to me we'll be seeing more of them in a form of a story arc in the future.
That’s a very spooky remake!
6:07 - Stepney's unused fourth series wincing face!
Emily rep! Always lovely to see. Really love this episode.

That was a Breathtaking Video, Great Work., and what an Ending it was.👍
What if Sir Topham Hatt wasn't there at the smelter's scrapyard while the grabber was going to get Stepney The Bluebell Engine?
Why can't an adaption just be an adaption with you?
Now I have to change my underwear.
As I can remember they try to scrap Oliver and Fergus who actually got away from them
Where can I find the smelters route from and Arry and Bert weren't brought to Sodor?
Wait so those Diesel's arent his? well whos are they then? (and btw RhenProd is it fine if you post another horror story?)
