Kobe 1 Protro was just phenomenal. Played in the 6s and 11s, but the 1s just feel so much better in my opinion. However, the Protro 6s maybe able to change my mind but sadly, Nike won’t allow us to get our hands on any 😂

I love my kobe 4, even though it’s fallen apart, I still couldn’t bring myself to throw it away. That’s how much I love mine.
I would say the 8 are the best. Traction is crazy
Very light and win others by numbers of colorways, thats true.
Kobe 9s have far better traction which is crazy because 8 had some of the best traction of all time.
6s. They figured it out with that mesh inner, covered by dope snake skin design! Has all the Air Zoom and mid sole benefits of the 4s, with more flexibility after moving away from that plastic upper. My heart is with the 5s tho. Got my 1st real dunk in those, USA 5s 🥺
Low cut 9s were the best imo

For me, these are the best Kobe shoes. Had this pair back in junior high and the shoes were so revolutionary because they started the low-cut version of basketball shoes. Kobe was willing to trim every cm just to get an extra split second of speed, reaction time, etc. I never got injured wearing these and I felt my ankle was so free from moving at different angles. These were all back in my playing days. Those were good times damn I felt old now haha
Yes the 4 is the best Kobe! We needed more retros
I think my favorite Kobes are the Kobe 11 Elite with a solid outsole, the Kobe 1 Protro and the Kobe 6 Protro.
4s and 6s for me. The 8, 9, 11 and 1 Protro are also fantastic

My top 5 Kobe’s are 1/4/8/5/6 it’s easily between the 5 & the 6 protro for me because forefoot cushion is super important in my 30s and the full length Cushlon with zoom turbo in the 5s feel incredible and super agile the 6 is slightly bulkier but the zoom in the heel is massive and the met bag zoom is right on the ball of my forefoot it just fits me perfectly 3 dimensionally and is so damn nimble for a shoe that packs that much cushion.. not to mention it’s the grinch color way 💚 ( I’m actually really excited for the Adidas Kobe’s whenever they decide to release them, I actually never had them I had the stormtrooper 2s as a kid ( even tho it was a super hideous shoe I wore the hell out of em cuz watching Kobe 3peat as a kid was magical for me Walt Disney couldn’t have scripted a better NBA 3peat as the Frobe Shaq obliteration of the league) they were actually a good kid shoe they were kind of Adidas Frankenstein version of a foam posit. The 1s are definitely way better looking and look much more comfortable with the midsole fully exposed.
I played in the 9 so I'm biased lol but the 6 seems to be the crowd favorite.
6 snakeskin is so well made. Basically has an outershell that emulates “shedding”

Kobe 8 = The GOAT...followed by the Kobe 4, Kobe 9 Elite and Kobe 1 Protro. Nike could make all the models in the line top tier with subtle improvements but they continue to cut corners unnecessarily. Who's really in charge of this line now at Nike?
