- Just when you thought my year was over - I'm back with one final video to close out 2023. Nike Basketball released a brand new take on the Kobe 4 Protro, nicknamed "Gift of Mamba". Dope review! You are the first person I've seen to mention the 24 in the perforations😮 Never would have caught that! BRAVO. I STILL can't believe I hit on a size 8. Holding onto these for a while. As a fan of all black kicks, these are a perfect example of black sneakers done right, like the Black TS Low. This unique style is what the Tiff AF1 needed.

Such a super simple colorway. Cool to see nice materials instead of synthetics used throughout but a heads up: the collar and toe rand portions are Fish Suede. That's why they're not at all diamond shaped/angled like snake skin is and look literally like fish scales. adidas and aSiCS have both used fish suede on some of their collabs (Pusha T Ultraboosts / BAIT GL3 2015s) and isn't embossed cow/pig suede.

Great video, my friend I’ve been trying to get my daughter a pair of Kobe’s. To play basketball and she is a huge. Kobe fan. But for some reason, Nike never let me purchase them.
Nike is really doing a disservice to Kobe’s line of sneakers and his legacy. The “Gift” of Kobe would’ve been that enough pairs were made so that everyone could enjoy them. Instead Nike being the “show brand” that it is decides to make every Kobe release limited to extremely rare. Nike doesn’t get rid of the bots, and knows in the end that Goat, Stadium Goods, Flight Club, and StockX are they’re best customers. Thanks Nike for all that you do to keep Kobe’s legacy alive and assure all those that really appreciated him, gets a chance to get his sneakers. 😉

Unfortunately it's a catch 22. Alot of people want those kind of shoes because they are limited. I recently got the Jordan 1 Celadon cause I don't care about hype. I just like a shoe. But all the reviews I watched said it should be bricks cause there is no hype around them. And I heard people saying they'll wait til they'll hit outlets. If Kobe was still with us. The hype for his shoes would not be what it is.
@@JvilleNC I agree! I stay East of the Mississippi, and when Kobe was playing, I was the only person in my city getting Kobe sneakers. I have like 8 pairs of the Kobe 11, with my 2 most limited pairs being the "Pale Horseman" & "Bruce Lee" colorways. Kobe sneakers didn't start to get big time traction until he retired and Nike did the "Fade to Black" colorway in the Kobe 11, which was SUPER Limited. Now that he's deceased, EVERYONE wants his sneakers now. You either have to be Jordan, a deceased athlete, or a thug to sell out sneakers with Nike, and that's unfortunate to be honest.
Most of Kyrie's sneakers were easy to get and at a great price point, but then when Nike didn't want him anymore, they dropped him for a guy that can't seem to stay out of trouble. It's unfortunate that Vanessa doesn't see the constant limitiedness of Kobe's sneakers as an issue, but many people want to support her and keep Kobe and Gigi's legacy going, but I don't blame Nike for wanting to make money, that's the goal of a business. But if you release TWO Kobe sneakers in the same month, and they are BOTH Limited... that doesn't sit well with the kids who want to get A PAIR of Kobe's, but now have to pay ridiculous prices resell!
@thescepterofjudah12 I see no lies told in what you said. But I will give Vanessa credit if she's behind what I'm seeing. It appears that Kobe sneakers are starting to drop in different colorways like Jordan's in 2024. So hopefully people that want to get a pair, can.

I was able to get a pair from a raffle. Maaaan the "black mamba" snakeskin detail on these shoes are so dope. It's also light on the feet. I know an all-black shoe doesn't pop, but rocking these outside in daylight caught some attention.
