In the aftermath, as the smoke cleared and the debris settled, SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs were left speechless, their hearts heavy with grief. But unknown to them, Plankton had miraculously survived, watching from a distance as the town mourned his supposed demise.
In honor of Plankton's sacrifice, a funeral was held, and the citizens of Bikini Bottom wept for the loss of the misunderstood anti-hero. Deep down, however, Plankton felt a sense of redemption. Though he had spent his days trying to steal the secret formula and committing acts of mischief, his ultimate sacrifice had shown him a new path.
As he swam away from Bikini Bottom, a sense of peace washed over him. Though he may never receive the recognition he deserved, Plankton knew that his sacrifice had been worth it. And with a smile on his face, he disappeared into the depths, forever changed by the funeral of an anti hero.
This reminds me of that pinned comment on an AI cover of plankton on Sound of Silence. Good storytelling for sure

He did an interview where he goes into it. He /does/ sing the lines himself, autotunes them, and makes AI plankton say the words. Im not an expert either, but he says it takes like 10 variations per line just to get something servicable.

@@cartysk8er721 Yeah the other ai backgrounds look automated, but it seems like in the last couple ones he prompts the ai more often throughout the video.
Yeah I think it's cause the other songs had a lot of stuff going on like tons of buildings and debris and such, so the background would just blend in together. This one is much more simplified and smaller scale so the things that are in it pop out MUCH more. I like it a lot more too.
The visuals make me feel like the song is about anti heros across infinite parallel dimensions while we're looking through a kaleidoscope spyglass merging the dimensions into one.

You are creating a whole new sub-mythos for Plankton. I love it so much... the villains from my cartoon youth, have a slightly dark but oddly optimistic hidden side to them. Kinda weirdly complements stuff like Bowsette. I would really look forward to seeing what other nostalgic sources you draw from, like original TMNT, Adventure Time, Flapjack... geez the well is endless, but I'm confident you can provide an insightful and intelligent spin on the on the other side of a dark mirror. Edit: hard MCR vibes from this too.
My interpretation of this Planktons story:
Before Plan Z: Plankton had the usual way, attempting to steal the secret formula, and failing, then he figures out he has plan Z (In summary, pretty much on how the Spongebob movie went).
Neon Tide: Plankton is now fed up with even Plan Z failing, so he's created powerful robots that would have this radioactive power and beaming light abilities. Soon, the Bikini Bottom was now stuck under the control of Plankton, that's why Spongebob sings a part of Neon Tide.
Antihero: Spongebob decided that enough was enough and gathered all of his friends to take Plankton down. With a bit of trouble, they won against Planktons' reign. Now, Plankton has finally excepted his defeat, knowing he will never get the formula and now just as it was normally, but Plankton is no longer trying to go against Mr. Krabs, and he closes down his business. Leaving him with some robots, and Karen.

I agree, but due to the song being titled antihero, and then The Two Of Us where he says "Both of us will die. If I don't cross the finish line" he knows something no one else does. I have a feeling the neon tide is actually AI taking over with robots. He basically joins the side of good, in this one, and nearly dies to save bikini bottom. Yet he's still painted as a villain for creating the threat. Yet, as a hero for stopping it. But after, Sandy and him had a faceoff, finally which will likely be further depicted in the next song.
