Dark Entries by bauhaus was my intro to the band in late 1980, early 1981, as I got the import single (4AD/ Beggars Banquet) from a local independent vinyl shop in the USA. It still holds up all these years later and features fine lyrics and vocal by Peter Murphy and the band is cranked up really high. That and Entertainment! by Gang of Four were in my post-punk playlist from then on. Good interview with John Robb; I look forward to reading the book.

I borrowed the book and I look forward to enjoying it. I believe John when he mentioned DIY. I am pleased John knows the genre and subculture.
