Kurt hated If You Must. I loved it the first time I heard Outcesticide. Hearing "new Nirvana" songs after Kurt was gone was incredible. Still finding things I haven't heard 30 years later when I thought I had heard it all. Incredible.

@@krisfrederick5001 Yeah, I know he hated If You Must and called it 'evil' or something in his journal. Its one of my favourite Nirvana songs, but I can understand why Kurt didn't like it as I'm sure he was aware he was capable of much better. Still a really good song though.
I also said it last time but Kurt definitely has a knack for writing some incredibly heavy riffs that wouldn't be out of place in an actual metal band, like the dude wrote some absolutely head banging riffs and it's awesome. Great as always, Eric, killing it every time
Moist Vagina has always been a favorite for me. The aura it has and simplicity, is something only Kurt could pull off with only 2 notes sounding haunting and amazing.
Totally love that sound of jagstang through the sansamp. 24 inch guitars just have that something that makes them sound so warm and heavy

The Eastwood has a really cool lofi distorted sound, it's very close to the original recordings. Nirvana had a really two-faced sound in terms of their almost thrash sounding heavier stuff and their lighter poppy riffs. Do you plan on doing a 'top 10 of the most melodic Nirvana riffs' video?

The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi was used on lithium
Yes, i know a big muff was used on lithium. It’s a huge mystery as to which specific one he used, there is no confirmation that it’s a big box big muff pi. I am using a Russian big muff, which Butch has said was in the studio
@@NirvanaGuitars Butch Vig has confirmed on numerous occasions that the classic Big Muff pedal was used to get the heavier tones on songs such as 'Lithium'. This is what I found on google also you might be able to contact butch.
The only Butch quote regarding this that I am aware of is the one where he says he brought along his Russian big muff to the sessions and that Kurt might’ve used it. Can you link a source where he confirms it was the classic big muff? Would love to see it!

Eric i dont blame you but you play paper cuts chorus little wrong. Listen carefully to the original chlrus and you should notice the difference

But originally, Kurt would hit F once with palm mute and go to B and hit it two times.
It is small detail, but it changes to me whole chorus. Big love

@user-oq2bn4wq1y Hard disagree. This eastwood can sound identical to Swap Meet, Sifting, About a Girl and the vast majority of Bleach. Elitist attitude or not, doesn't change how it can replicate those sounds
