@elishaelisha707 I have the texture tonic and it's OK but it isn't anything special on my skin (dry/sensitive). But I love the dewy skin cream and the indigo night repair. My skin always feels plumped and bouncy after using them x

The indigo night repair gets zero attention and it’s amazing
I used to swear by the Essence…. Until I found Hourglass’ EQUILIBRIUM RESTORING ESSENCE. I don’t see how it could get better than this.
Thayers Milky toner is my fav. It’s been around before this trend and is drugstore.
Laneige do a good one and it’s available in a light and rich version. I think the best one I’ve ever tried is Filorga 💚

Beautiful explanation! My favorite is the kiehl's milky peel toner :) although it is exfoliating and it seems like all the ones you mentioned were for hydration. Definitely going to pick up the illia to try out. Would love to see a video about how to layer different products to help them work together:)

I love the laneige cream skin toner as a lotion during the hot CA summer, i really wish i could afford it more often, and same with ilia 😭
Can you do the next level up - an emulsion comparison? These can be used as or after toners and before moisturizers, equivalent to serums, and their use depends on whether you want to layer heavier products on top

I've been using a milky product from The Lab for well over 2 years... Prebiotic ceramide 'solution' comes in a mist also... I'd love to know what you think about their placement in a routine etc

I'm curious to know what yall think of the glow recipe watermelon toner? I basically use that as my one & done step almost always. The fragrance is the only downside in my opinion... also, thanks for this video specifically. I think I'm gonna save up for the ilia milk!

I love the TirTir too! It’s the only toner I have tried that doesn’t irritate my skin. TirTir cushion foundation is what they’re mostly known for but their skincare line is great too

Byoma’s is nice, but i like the Fenty one better, its more hydrating and you can use less.
That’s my question.. a lot of MUA’s tout Fenty’s. I think I have knowledge now tho to test in store and look at Ingredients.

I just got the ilia in the small bottle to try big mistake ,😂 that shit is tiny and i didn't realize how tiny for 29$ and guess what I'm in love with it so now I'm gonna have to buy the big bottle which I should have done from the beginning and probably should have got it 2 weeks ago when ilia had their sale.
One question...which one has bag refill?? Any??
Because nowadays we have to have a BIG concern about the packaging, no matter if it's recyclable what matters the most is if they provide refills at a better price in a recyclable container.
Question: Essence vs mily toner ...does one replace the other?

What exactly does a toner do compared to a serum, and which would you put on first?
It preps the skin and hydrates it so the serum sinks in deeper. Depending on the toner ingredients it offers a lighter weight layerable consistency so u don't have to put a bunch of heavy products on the skin . Prep step in not so many words . It's great if u have dehydrated skin and want to add more hydration because you can later then add a serum and moisturizer to lock in . Serums usually have more potent ingredients pick which is best based on the concerns u have and comes in a variety of textures. Toners go before the serum after washing your face but with something like ilia milk u can use it after ur serum as a moisturizer type product as well and if ur young u may not need much like a serum and can be used as a one and done product. Think thin to thickest in order of your skincare but it's good to also find what order works best because it's not always written in stone because they have these milky toners now that can double as moisturizer.

That was so informative! What about Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk Toner? It's the only product from her line that I thought was intriguing enough to purchase when her line came to Ulta. It seems to play well w/my other products I use for my combo/oily skin. 🩷
