Olympus has created the ESG-300 electrosurgical generator dedicated to the needs of the endoscopist and
overcoming the complexity associated with multipurpose generators. It provides modes for all key procedures in
endoscopy and can be controlled with a simple touch of a button.
The new Argon Plasma Unit (APU-300) can be used in combination with the ESG-300 to provide advanced,
superficial hemostasis. The SmartArgon Mode detects distance to tissue and adjusts power automatically.
Depending on the target tissue, a choice of probes are available: lateral, axial, and radial.
