I hope he gets back with Kamelot for a tour, I really wanted to see him live, he's one of the best vocalists I know about, he has a pure voice in my opinion. I hope he's doing better though, and forever may he sing.

This world is now so hard to live that I can understand why some choose other ways to live in harmony with themselves. we must respect his decision, even if it's very hard. We must remain respectful to the man, we will remember him with happiness and now it's time to support the band for the future :)
I discovered Kamelot late in 2011. I was amazed by Roy's talent. Too bad he already stopped his career. . I heard about conception only last year and damn. . When I'm listening to Conception I wonder why they disbanded. . :/
Just so you know, Conception got back together and they're releasing an EP very soon. They've got a couple new songs out-"Grand Again" and "Feather Moves".
@bluette57 I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of a severe burn-out. He's been doing this for a while, and nearly all of his albums have some aspect of God (albeit, he mostly sings about heretic characters). I can only imagine what he's done to his psyche after all this time.
@Persianroyal1 mmm well I think it's not so "simple" - I mean there are, certainly, lot of factors that we don't know... the most important, and I hope ppl here will agree with me... is first to wish to Roy Khan a full recovery (may it take long time or not, he must recover, no?) and second point, is to support Kamelot as "band" :) even with replacement singer (and the guests :D the upcoming gigs will truly kick some asses :DD)
it wasn't a "reunion" in 2005... only a singer that came as "guest" (IMO). And now Roy isn't in the music business anymore, so... no reunion with any band :)

Out of all songs Roy was a part of (both Conception and Kamelot) this is my absolute favorite. Truly a Masterpiece beyond words.
