I still listen to this everyday. Best love performance of any song ever recorded. The ending is absolutely transcending
Fantastic explosion of MY OVARIES
the singer has a crazy charisma
I seriously think these guys play paper scissors rock to work out who plays what instrument. Or do they lay them out and the first one you grab is the instrument you play?
Called musicianship.
Its refreshing, right? =] Fucking love 'em
Lyrics:
Every day I wake, physically weaker than before
In my growing mind, the dreams I've left behind, the sign that there was more
Blackness it awaits, slumber hits the rain outside my window
Can I get it back, what can I do to get them back inside?
Into the delay, the sounds don't carry on into the graves
In my growing mind, the parts I realise are all collective thoughts
Blackness it awaits, slumber hits the rain outside my window
Can I get it back, what can I do to get them back inside?
how i see this
2:30 nice pause
3:07 1..2..3..4..
4:54 nice pause again ( and lets trip)
5:20 nice bass line
5:42 guitar + tremolo =
This is definitely a righteous tune !! They've got a new fan here, their whole performance was tight as shit.
This radio station is awesome, I wish they had shit like this in Florida.
i've listened to many songs but this is one of my favourite ever
Cam is a beast as drummer
they need to bring this back to the live sets.
I saw them live in Amsterdam last year (october 2019) and they played it :) it was brilliant!! Very refreshing to hear some of the older stuff.
Ok but how about now. Idgaf how ahead of your time you were, how do we get this back now
This just blew my mind.
we need a pond live album
they were making one, but their sound guy's laptop with all the recordings was stolen :(
@@rhyeshedden7826 Seriously? What a fucking bummer. I saw them last year and they blew me away. Best performers I've ever seen live.
@@LanceVanceDance84 Yeah I know, was pretty gutted when I found out. I'm seeing them in Melbourne in a month, keen as a bean
@@rhyeshedden7826 Well, maybe someday they'll decide to try again. They're too good not to have at least one live album, especially when they're in their prime. Anyway, hope you enjoy the show. Seeing them live was like a religious experience for me lol.
@@LanceVanceDance84 hopefully. And yeah, it's definitely going to be great
There is something about this song, it has all the nature on it. It's like some kind of millenarium sound that existed since the beginning of the world and they made it a song. So amazing. And if you look at the sky and the movement of the trees you'll see the song on its essence, it means movement really. oh god pond is amazing.
just wow.....never stop guys, please.
those aditional 30 seconds at the end shitttttttttttt, eargasmmm
*pantsless and crying*
this needs to be re- released how great is this live!
This is a sneak up on you good song.
All of a sudden, you’re just down with it.
fucking amazing
my band doesnt like pond but has me singing maroon 5, when we could be doing this
goddamit
Alex Berghuis Is being in a band really so important that you let yourself be in a band that covers Maroon 5?
Adam Dekleer I compromise with maroon 5 so that one day I can force them to do this song
Not a lot of bands in my city
Alex Berghuis haha arme jij....
Alex Berghuis Time to find a new band Alex!
salo7227 haha I did
Should've known it wouldnt work out the day they suggested I sing adam lambert
kms
They should! They make me proud to listen to good music!
Yeah man I saw them live and they went off one of the best performances I have ever been to. Their was something about seeing them effortlessly recreate the songs live and adding to them with live improvs. They were all the funniest performers pretending to be rockstars then just being plan silly throwing them selves around the place cracking jokes. They jammed out so hard best stage performance and they still looked so smooth and cool. I met the curly haired guitarist nicest dude. Go see live!
Thank you for existing! Cheers!
Just got back from seeing these guys live. Wow! Just pure musicians that love to have fun. Their first couple of tracks were a bit sloppy but then they got it together and just went off! Amazing band.
The drummer enhances the sound so radical with his hat jammin plays during Pond's kickass climaxes..
I think I'd literally just explode if I was in that room with them
Oh god !! All time fav
I just love to groove on this song everytime I smoke a joint. Awesome!
This should be the version that's on their record. Eye Pattern Blindness, a product of KEXP Studios.
Ya I am older, but this brings me back to The Band psychedelic days... Thanks boyzzzz
looove
#POND It is a super extraordinary band 2020
Remember the "Sioux and the banshees- Israel" 🖤 good good good!
This is fucking insane.
Excelente! Con esta canción los conocí y son la raja !
I met them with 'you broke my cool' and then this one and oh my, theyre awesome
Es bueno You Broke my Cool :D tambien Mystery de Pond. Escucha They Dated Steadily de Mink Mussel Creek, es filete :D
I prefer this live stuff over the album, so much more natural :)
Can't wait to see you in CC MEXICO
Heaven 🥁🎸❤
Brilliant guys
A melhor deles
The best
Fuck me these guys are unbelievable. Only just started listening to them but this song is my favourite so far. Fuck and every band they've made is bloody brilliant.
Definitely worth a good rock out dude highly recomended
Pond excellent from Argentina
I really dig these cats...they capture a 70s groove like no other and make it fresh and relevant for today. some of the new shit out there has "too many notes" to coin a phrase... not pond though...nothing over done here, nothing over cooked, just really nice, a real sense of what belongs with a splash of cognac.
Woah! 4:53
epb... awesome.
omg outstanding performance and awesome song, fucking amazing
genios incomprendidos
And breathe.... F*, ing ell, epic.
Fuck!!! What a talent!!
the besttttt
RARE!
90's Pond was grunge shit. This is psychedelic brilliance.
This shit makes me wanna get drunk

This is better than any TI song!
5:24 my reaction to this song
King Gizzard kinda sampled this on their new song Nuclear Fusion!!!!!!!
Which part?
This video doesn't have enough views come on !
nick has a good voice :O
It's as though they start with Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd to Live at Pompeii in one song...fucking awesome
cool
Esto me hace muy feliz
3:08 haha nicks face, ow oh i think we just made a hole within space itself!
Dig that bass
W O W
Holy Fuck! This is intense.
the only thing i disliked about this video is that its over now. wait...oh yes...here we go again.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that ride cymbal's a good 36 inches or so! its boomin big
I mean this was fucking beautiful. better than the original
now that's a riff!
Wait

@@beefwreath2856nah Shiny Joe is in the beige vest lol
@@beefwreath2856 0:15
my bad i was ripped and i am badly colorblind, answered too hastily without double checking the other colors (or what a cardigan is) :P@@armada7883
is that cam on drums?
+endors toi yaaaaaaaz
yeah ha thats funny.
Doooope
3:18 "Dat ass" face
that was dddddoooopee city
Bob Dyan on bass...
Is it just me or are they kind of a live band as their live recordings like this sounds so much more awesome compared to their studio shit, their studio shit is still awesome, but there's just something really sick sonically and musically with the effects and tones they use live that is just more captivating and energetic...idk, is it really just me? (and this is just my opinion so don't dislike or mark spam on this comment and blast me with whiney bullshit)
I know this would be impossible because jay and nick would be tired as shit. but Pond + Tame Impala on the same tour. Pond as the opener.
And the encore by Mink Mussel Creek
4:57 hits SO HARD LMAO
5:40 Anyone know how Jay get this sound?
Tremolo
Matt Koopman Thanks bro!
could be a rotary speaker simulator tho
+Ted Moesby i think its tremolo
Easily the best song on their latest album Beards, Wives, Denim.
chapadonah vendo isto
Dude, tame impala doesn't even get close
They are the live band for Tame. They are both great in their own way tbh
Lol, listen to "Broke my cool" from the same jam, the opening "Hey" definitely broke his voice on that one
Joseph should be in Tame Impala too!
Omg Jay Watson *-*
2:30! oh holy jesusussusus
jay gro-so!
jay ca-po!
5:00
Not to shamelessly plug, but I love this song so much I remixed it with a Danny Brown song. If you're a Pond fan and a Hip Hop fan I think you'll dig on this for a second. soundcloud.com/boekhout/danny-brown-x-pond-mashpotatoes is the Soundcloud link.
Holy Mother of god fucking solo..
Oh.
The singer is the little prince by saint-exupéry...
his voice wasnt breaking, he was singing kind of raspy like how wayne coyne from the flaming lips sings
Check out Ceyote on youtube, sweet band.
When i grow up, I want to be a leisure pony.
