I totally love the expression on that kids face when Kiss came out and got to meet them! I'm so happy for him that a dream came true for him and also shows how caring the band is and what kind of people they are. So very very cool!
Ok I love Kiss, and this is defenitly one of the reasons why. Seriously, they have got hearts of gold. The way they made that kid smile, I almost began crying. It just moved me so much. Love you Kiss.
@Puertecitos68 Still, you STILL don't know him personally, do you? Chances are, you're lying to me about working with them to prove a point/get your way. I think he is a good man. Everyone who meets them BTW says that Paul is rude and Gene is nice, so not sure whay you're talking about bud.
People give KISS a lot of hate they don't deserve. During their Reunion tour in 1997 we were experiencing the flood of the century in my region of Canada and things were chaotic to say the least. KISS printed up a special batch of T-shirts to sell just for us, and raised $40 000 for flood relief. They didn't have to do this, but the fact that they did said lot to us at the time 🙂🤘💥⚡⚡🔥
What a great little dude for keeping Rock alive in the hearts of young girls and boys across this great nation of ours,May the lineage and legacy of real Rock be passed on down to generations like this continuously forever 🤪🤪🤪🤪 long live the METAL😈😈😈😈😈😈
I have always been a huge KISS fan. They are one of the few if not only musicians they go out of their way to brighten the life of a special person. I have seen and heard about many such acts. Say what you want about their music but you can deny their pure heart.
Over the years I have met most of the current and former KISS members. Paul was great. Ace was very nice and appreciative. Peter was a genuinely sweet guy. I know he had the reputation of being the complainer in the band but not so with me. Gene gets called an asshole all the time and sometimes it is deserved but when he met my niece and me he was very gracious and giving of his time. He went out of his way to really pay attention to my niece who was 8 at the time. Eric Carr was the most down to earth of all of them. Bruce Kulick struck me as a great guy as well. In fact, Eric Singer was the only one that made a bad impression. Heard him complaining about how many people were in attendance at the Nashville Kiss Convention. I remember thinking, "Be glad anyone wants your autograph."
If a rock band has even ONE certified gold album, they are considered a legend. But in 2015, RIAA gave KISS the award for having the most Gold albums of any U.S. band in history (30), more than even the Eagles, Aerosmith, Metallica, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, and Chicago.
You would think that after almost 50 years, the band would be taking everything from granted and merely be doing appearances from self serving purposes, but that's not the case - KISS still rock with compassion and dignity.
Say what you want about KISS - they have ALWAYS gone out of their way for their fans. Since the early days they've been doing meet-n-greets - and not a quick picture-and-you're-gone - they often stick around and chat. True KISS fans will remember the legendary Cadillac High School visit, and of course Gene is well-known for his outspoken support our country's heroic military veterans. I don't know much about Thayer and Carr, but it's always seemed obvious to me that Paul and Gene enjoy their parenthood roles and still get a kick out of doing kid-oriented things like this. I mean, just to get into the make-up takes hours. That's serious dedication, and that's the reason the KISS Army that started so many years ago is still going strong today.
He wasn't there only that fake ass Tommy Thayer pretending to be Ace. Just like that fake ass Eric Singer pretending to be Peter Criss. Fake Kiss SUCK compared to the original band KISS.
@@bobbysmela3942 I agree with you, BUT if Peter and ace were still there there would be no kiss. Paul and Gene treat this like a business the other 2 treated it like a party.
This is why they are my favorite band. KISS has always cared about their fans.
Im tearing up. Kiss just made this little boy's day. Thank you for caring about our children with disabilities and the military. We appreciate you.
I'm crying. That was so awesome of them. My favorite Band too.
This is what is really important in life. Putting a smile on someone's face and making a difference
What kiss the band did for this child is immeasurable
Well said. Best comment on here
Put tears in my eyes
And his day is fanatasic
This is one of many reasons they are my favorite band.
No More word to add
I love this video. It shows the compassion of KISS. It also shows the love and respect they have for their fans at any age.
How awesome is that?! What Kiss did for David is priceless, His reaction to seeing them was just the best!
I totally love the expression on that kids face when Kiss came out and got to meet them! I'm so happy for him that a dream came true for him and also shows how caring the band is and what kind of people they are. So very very cool!

This is what makes KISS such a great band !
I've said this at least 100 times nobody takes care of their fans better than kiss
They love their fans. My son loved KISS for over 10 yrs and still does.
@Puertecitos68 People say the exact opposite.. Don't assume things. You probably have never met the guy.
Oh wow, I could not help but to get tears in my eyes watching this... those guys made that little boy’s entire life.
I'm grinning from ear to ear.
Which side of the cat is the furriest?
The outside
That's really cool. Kiss is a class act. The whole bunch of them. Nice job guys.
I met Paul Stanley twice, and Gene Simmons once..and I have to say, they are the most down to earth, humble guys you'd EVER want to meet!!
I know what you mean! I met Gene once, and that crazy guy that spits blood and breathes fire is actually very grounded and normal 😉
This is how it should be with fans and bands. Call them what you want, but they jave ALWAYS been about the fans.
Kiss have been known to make kind gestures such as this. They really are a "super group".
:38 just about makes me CRY. Paul to talk & hug him PRICELESS. You cannot get better than that
He loves kids❤️
What an incredible KISStory!
He get the worlds greatest birthday gift ever 🎸
This little guy can now Rock and Roll All Night with that guitar, phenomenal gesture by the Legends that are KISS!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸
So great with kids, so humble
This band is gorgeous, in every aspect 😍
Compassionate band!
My Favorite, or one of them since 1976. Love them. Strutter, I love it loud. Detroit Rock City, crazy nights.
Off the scale class and kindness that young man will never forget...Awesome
That is a memorable moment the legendary "KISS". celebrating this kids birthday. They went out of there way that's is one true act of goodwill.

That look on that little boy's face brought tears to my eyes!!!!!!!!!!! Long Live kiss and the little things they do for their fans😄
How incredible. That is an awesome showing of people who CARE ABOUT OTHERS! Nice job Kiss!

They love their fans!!
Two hours of hair and makeup for five minute appearance,
They always go all out.
im sure they spent more time with him after the show.
And didn't ask for a cent, everyone bags em and they shouldn't,they do more than alot for all sorts of charities .
This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. No band has more class than KISS . Amazing!!

You need to meet Tommy. He is a sweetheart and a great guy.
Eric Really. Maybe he was having a bad day

Aww, makes me love these guys even more!
The guys are always world class!
Say what you want KISS is a class act.
My son loves kiss
Great moment and great band.
You would think that after almost 50 years, the band would be taking everything from granted and merely be doing appearances from self serving purposes, but that's not the case - KISS still rock with compassion and dignity.
I forgot to mention that I sincerely hope that the boy continues on his fast paced recovery and plays that guitar like Ace did.
These guys are so kind

It's not Carr, but Singer. It's ok, they're both Eric's and important members of the band too.

What KISS AND ELLEN did for David is the greatest thing that could've ever been done for him.
Good on you kiss.
Wow!
What year was this??
kid asks, "wheres Ace?"
He wasn't there only that fake ass Tommy Thayer pretending to be Ace. Just like that fake ass Eric Singer pretending to be Peter Criss. Fake Kiss SUCK compared to the original band KISS.
As long as gene and Paul were there, they could have had anyone else there it wouldn't matter to me
@@bobbysmela3942 I agree with you, BUT if Peter and ace were still there there would be no kiss. Paul and Gene treat this like a business the other 2 treated it like a party.
@@bobbysmela3942 come on...look at the kid's face...not the time to hate on kiss. Not for this.
@@bobbysmela3942 if it was still Ace and Pete, they woulda pulled no-shows. Anton Fig and Bob Kulick wouldda been called in
