  • Mind Over Magic continues and we try to grab as many medallions as we can for our students by completing their goals! To be fair this mostly involves fighting, which is fine because there are monsters to deal with, but we achieve medallions in other ways too.
One way is to adjust our schedule a little bit because we notice that pretty much immediately after waking up everybody still seems a tiny bit weary, so we add in a few more hours sleep for people to make sure they're nice and alert when they wake up. This then allows one of the students to complete a goal that requires them to be rested! More medallions!
There's more building work going on at the school too. We begin work on a new atelier room, which we discover has to be on it's own out in the grounds somewhere because it needs to be both grounded but also have a roof.
Work begins on a new House Commons too, although this does take a while and involves me faffing about quite a lot and the AI getting themselves stuck on a rooftop, which is fun...
Also there's an upgrade to the dining room, we do a lot of gardening and we push the fog a loooong way back with just one ritual!

Quince's most important job should be chopping Runewood trees so Rainbow-weaver can make Ash Parchment.
Can't have Quince mucking about in the garden when got new Quilted Helpers for that.

Lol oh, Penge. I can hear your brain trying to not melt down at parts during this. Thank you for keeping up with it though! I really am loving this series~ SUPER Excited to see the room being built!
ALSO, I think you NEED that middle support you have set for demo!

Looking forward to seeing the new minions when you hire your dark II and finish the last finial.
In regards to your newest room, you could add a new ceiling/floor in the kitchen 2 tiles below the current ceiling, leaving a 1 tall gap, and replace the wall to the right of the gap with a single support column, making it all an outside space. Also note, your kitchen keeps getting remade because mess lowers it's luxury below the minimum and it regresses, so add a bit more luxury in the kitchen as a luxury buffer for the cleaning minions.

    Penge: *needs to build roofs*
    Also Penge: *removes roof*
    And...
Penge: *needs Xyla to kill mobs*
Penge: *spends 10 minutes passing turns and forgets he has potions that one shot most mobs*
    I absolutely adore your style!

I believe if you remove the iinitial support structure, the other will be too far out to support the middle of your floor for your future house commons.
And you may want to consider having a teacher on the night shift to gather resources that can only be harvested at night like sporecaps and some other yet to be discovered goodies. I'm sure Paisley would love the company too.

Penge, don't forget you can use regular dispel fog when something is closely behind the fog or you just need to push it back a bit. (Also if it does not say rested it is not rested.) Finally do remember to continue your research. That aside, well done on your students' advancements!

Thank you for the interesting magic video! I think it is better to leave two columns for such a big room as house of commons.

You can always add a mezzanine over half of the common room with a ladder for half the beds, I think it has to be lofted so it will be super tall anyway

I believe the house commons thing counts as a recreation room. I can't see the devs making it not count when they obliviously put a lot of requirements on making...bla, bla, bla. Good vid.

Penge, after pushing the fog way back, I figured you were going to override somebody's work order and get them to chop down the runewood trees before the fog overtook them. I'm glad the combat went well for the students and they are maxing out their medallions. The new rooms are coming along, but I felt bad for the cronebug when it was getting rained on. Looking forward to the next episode.

See the tentacles coming out of the fog on the ground? That's how far the fog will advance. You have plenty of time.

I think Willow, Xyla, Yuri should be hired for staff and replace Betty, Bernard, Frost
It kinda shame if u trying so hard for those 3 to get medallions and not being a teacher

You could have Zyla complete her last medalion by scheduling her do recreation more frequently throughout the day and wait four days.

Put outdoor support by winding stairs, leaving an uncovered gap, like med room no roof or floor on one side, so it remains a non room put commons on top of support. So it doesn't go over chimney. This was before you found your fix

Another good episode. Poor Penge, even I was finding it hurting my brain just watching you try to build. It's so complicated and doesn't help with silly teachers not understanding how stairs work. Hopefully Penge, you got to have a rest and cuppa tea after that video. 😊🫖

    I demand more Bwubba coverage!
EDIT- This is a fun game to watch you play, but I honest-to-God think that I'd pull my luxurious hair clean out of my head if I tried to actually play it for myself. All the constant levels of needing this to make that so you can get this and then that so you can do a thing and another thing to need to bring back a bauble to make a doodad. Jeez, even saying all that was taxing. My undiagnosed OCD would just freak out on the daily if I played this.
So thanks for showing off this game. And thank you for saving my follicles as well. 🤣🤣

Oooo... you got so much done today. The new quilting helpers room... the students medallions, that new commons room is started... and sundry other bits and bobs got done as well.
🤔 I do think you could regret taking that pillar out before you get the floor above built.
🤗 I was really hoping you'd realize that your little room wouldn't work for the common's room... which you did. There's going to be a lot of stuff in that space.... but maybe you can utilize an upper area for beds or something?
