I'm more with Sandy on this one. I was a big Gio fan through 2022. Last year, when Gio came in, I was like, "Aww shit. Which end of the Bi-Polar Pitching Spectrum are we getting today?" I just want him to be consistent this year. He's a huge student of the game, I totally respect that, and he takes the ball every time. I respect that more. I really just want to see consistency again.
I 'm not listening to what you say because My opinion of Gio could not be worse. He has been a determent to the Cards for two years If they could trade him or cut him do it. I witnessed the Country of Mexico lose to Japan last year in around three pitches. Who was on the mound,, Gio. Enough said!
For fear of preaching 20/20 hindsight, I'm not sure how you could be SO optimistic on Gallegos. I don't know if you've played the game itself much, but the home runs he gave up last year were on real hangers (i.e. very juicy curveballs). I hated the guy (in the highlights comments sections), because I didn't follow the Cards much in the years he was good.

I’d rather have him release than closing as a pitcher. In crutch time , he’s bad, but take away the pressure, he’s solid.
This bullpen is going to be great this season. I live the rebuild of it

He is better as a setup, not high leverage at all.
Right on, Andrew. Sorry, Sandy
Our bullpen is going to get beat up this year.
2019 (i.e. five years) is an eternity ago in the career of a professional athlete.
