Started shooting seriously now for 8 months and i can't get enough...ive only felt just recently the confidence to hunt with.
I've yet to take an animal (deer or pig), but have hunted with a rifle for 15 odd years, primarily stalking, and during the roar/rut season in NZ. I look forward to learning here, as there is a lot to be learned.

I sure hope you are able to bring more shooters and hunters into using traditional archery equipment. Once they give it an honost try they will get hooked. I started hunting with trad gear in 1986 and have never looked back and have promoted it to shooters and hunters using compound bows at many 3D events. Instead of trad bows becoming a way of shooting, it becomes a way of life. I'll be 72 next month and look forward to shooting my longbows every day. Rarely is there a day goes by that I don't shoot at least a few arrows.

@@richardclaypoole354 I agree wholeheartedly with you Richard! I helped a well known Canadian 3D champion (compound) get started two years ago- he’s sponsored and all that.. takes the wheel bow for some pics and hangs it up and uses a longbow to hunt with.. thank you for sharing! Cheers! -Grant
