Beginning in 1965, were plenty of times that we could have taken history in our own hands and built a non-imperial social democracy. I'm not really sure why Owen didn't show you the clip of Biden's fact checks, but he would have been consistently checked as well so both Biden and Trump likely didn't want real-time fact checks. Owen should have stitched in the clip of Biden's mistruths as well to show you why it was likely both camps didn't want the hassle of being interrupted when they lied considering both did it a lot throughout. Beginning in 1965, were plenty of times that we could have taken history in our own hands and built a non-imperial social democracy. We have missed our chance, and now we must deal with the consequences of genocide, decay of empire, revanchist racism, economic rot, and authoritarian internal violence. What must we do? All I can say is organize, educate, and unionize and do this on all levels... many of us must sacrifice our comfort and much else to do so. Solidarity!

I'm from Eastern Europe. I remember the time when "Made in USA" was like some holy artefacts from heaven itself. US was seen as some mythical promised land. I think that's because Biden's team didn't want it either. I'm not really sure why Owen didn't show you the clip of Biden's fact checks, but he would have been consistently checked as well so both Biden and Trump likely didn't want real-time fact checks. Owen should have stitched in the clip of Biden's mistruths as well to show you why it was likely both camps didn't want the hassle of being interrupted when they lied considering both did it a lot throughout. I think that context matters.

I saw clips on the video of Jon Stewart’s Daily Show before anything else. As soon as often, the humour he injects into it highlights how awful it is.
