It didn't look like you locked down the cutter head at all. Shouldn't you be unlocking the cutter head, make an adjustment, and lock the cutter head back down before planning your board.?

The latest Dewalt dw734 does not come with the 10mm/8mm wrench, or place to put it. Its called Type 20 i think as opposed to type 1.
I've never used a planer in my life. Just bought this model.
And even I felt the techniques and actions in this video are extremely wrong and dangerous.

Yeah, don't do that. The manual explicitly says not to use the dust catcher unless you have a actual wood vacuum system. Not a shop vac.
