South American shirt faced bear or Arctotherium was currently the biggest land mammal predator or omnivore at 1,200 kg and possibly 1,700 kg! Hyaenodon gigas is only around 378 kg and possibly 500 kg. Simbakubwa is around 600 kg and maybe 1,000 kg. Daeodon is around 1,200 kg. Andrewsarchus is 1,000 kg and the American lion is 400 kg. Arctodus or short faced bear is 1,150 kg or 1,200 kg! This animal in the video is thought to weight around 2,000-3,000 kg. This is a huge difference compared to all the others!
