Bible doesn't forbid drinking. The scripture shows that drinking is not a sin if used in moderation coz everything is created for our good purpose. For instance Ecclesiastes 9:7 "Go eat your good with gladness and drink your wine with a joyful heart". It's good to follow our instincts and not be trapped by dogmas. Reasoning and rationality will lead to the emancipation of our broader thinking. Alcoholism is a disease of the spiritiual aspect of a person and that is where the churches can work upon..the spirituality. When a person is spiritually weak he/she tend to go astray. Teach the younger generation..sensitize them spiritually and the younger generations wont go wayward. Prohibiting alcohol will only lead to more chaos and confusion. So ensuring that the younger generations are spiritually enlightened is key. If NBCC oppose NLTP act there will be more rehab centres in the state than liquor syndicates in the near future.

Bible doesn't forbid drinking. The scripture shows that drinking is not a sin if used in moderation coz everything is created for our good purpose. For instance Ecclesiastes 9:7 "Go eat your good with gladness and drink your wine with a joyful heart". It's good to follow our instincts and not be trapped by dogmas. Reasoning and rationality will lead to the emancipation of our broader thinking. It's unfortunate that "Nagas way of thinking critically is still at its infancy".We need more critical thinkers like sir Kahuto.

Alcoholism is a disease of the spiritiual aspect of a person and that is where the churches can work upon..the spirituality.
When a person is spiritually weak he/she tend to go astray. Teach the younger generation..sensitize them spiritually and the younger generations wont go wayward. Prohibiting alcohol will only lead to more chaos and confusion. So ensuring that the younger generations are spiritually enlightened is key. If NBCC oppose NLTP act there will be more rehab centres in the state than liquor syndicates in the near future.
I feel like he is given more privileges to young people and the one who is drinking by blaming only to the Church's.......... Yeah what he is saying is true and I agree but church alone cannot bring changes, there need to be an cooperation from individuals as well as from society's too ( i,e. Politicians, Civil Servants, Church Leader's, Local Union Leaders Bureaucrats and so on etc. must stand hand in hand to bring changes not only liquors banned but to bring overall changes )
