A mindset with Backwardness are against lifting the NLTP Act. Opening a Wine shop has nothing to do with the Faith and worship, its an indiviidual Soul about Ones believe. Keyboard warriors are always commenting without understanding the present burning issues in our state.If lifting up it will generate more government revenues, it will get quality products, I will boost our (Nagas) economies and it will create more employment opportunity in business sectors for both educated and uneducated whoever want's to do.
And in one point, for drunkers whether lift or ban they will drink, as it is available in every nook and corner in our state that also called monopoly system. So in short, better lift up.

Finally a video on what we have been talking about for years now. The liquor barons are some of the most ardent supporters of the NLTP act and biggest donators to the churchs' opposition to the Act because it serves their interests.
And most of them are tee-totallers and also hold the position of deacon and deaconess. Church hypocrisy has reach its extreme zenith.

Assam: Excise Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said on September 2023 that Assam gov. through Liquors earn 10 crore rupees a day. If NLTP Act is removed, Nagaland could earn at list 5 crore a day which is sufficient enough for generating enough employment opportunities. NLTP propaganda is a drain of wealth to Assam policy and is the root cause of unemployment in Nagaland. NLTP Act is also the cause of major death due to adulterated liquor consumption. Thanks to Churches and civil societies for our miserable Nagaland.

A great show, i hope the NMA, NBCC and the leaders of our civil society will understand something from this act. Most likely the politicians and the rich will not push for it because they are not affected. Mostly the middle and lower class are affected. If it is not lifted soon, many of the young people will take up this profession, its a very good source of income. 😅
