Khmer people are very genuine, kind, and loving. You are very lucky that you have met a Khmer gf. Keep her and take good care of her. Khmer women are very faithful
RESPECT! Proud of you and happy for you. Cambodia is my second home. Will leave USA again soon to return. Had a lot of mental health issues after benzodiazepines destroyed my brain and had to go through the dark night of the soul , alone in Cambodia. Very intense years getting well again. Exercise. Sunshine. Lots of fresh red meat, liver. Water. Coconut water. Grounding myself in the grass daily. Meditating. Staying far away from negative media and people. Feeding street dogs and cats daily.
@2woman1Journey Cambodia is a great place to start. Thanks for watching, good to see a woman Marine on my channel too! I've never met one, breath of fresh air.
Great adventure moving to Sisophon, and a very interesting video. I lived in Phnom Penh for 3+ years, 2016-2019, would love to live in Cambodia again soon. Subscribed
Hey dude! Just found your channel and subbed. I love people who makes videos and come across real and not fake like others who do travel vlogs. My question is, do you plan to stay in Cambodia for the rest of your life? Cheers
Hello mate, thank you so much for subscribing. I try to keep it as real as possible, I don't know where I'll be in the future but it won't be the UK that's for certain.
Just came across your channel. Great video. I’m glad that you have been able to face the demons in your life. I am currently saving money like crazy to be able to move over there. The United States is not what it used to be. Good luck with the channel .
The highs are being with your friends all the time. The lows differ for each person I think. I look back now at what I thought were lows but they really weren't. Not compared to how bad things got when I left.

Oh. Make sure there’s no mold growing in your flat. Super toxic if you’re genetically vulnerable but you should be fine with the air flow you have. It made me very sick and others in my building.
To be honest, the scooters are cheaper and more reliable. I just wanted a bike because I enjoy riding. Plus I look ridiculous on a scooter. It looks like unicycle when I'm on one.
@@SavedinSvay I started watching your videos today. I feel like I'm in the same boat with you. I need to make a change in my life before it's too late watching your videos is giving me the courage to just do that.
@vernonmiller8852 Thank you mate, that means alot and I'm glad this channel can help people in some way. My advice would be to take these opportunities but just make sure you have a plan. For example I did my teaching course here in Cambodia so I knew I would have a good chance of finding work due to networking. One thing I've realised is life is about taking risks.
just found your channel, very nice info! is your apartment like a one-off or can one easily find simple $50 places where you are? Thanks again for your content, super useful.
Great video Luke
Thank you so much mate, your channel is great too! Just checked it out. You're a good man.

Cambodia is such a spiritual place. Just love seeing the temples and its wonderful genuine people. Will visit the kingdom in the near future.
Its taking them all to hell.
Welcome to Cambo. This place is great to start over especially if you’re leaving the past behind you. Good luck man. ❤
Thanks mate, still in the fight 👊

if you don’t mind me asking what’re some of the highs and lows of your time in service?

I teach online. Good way to supplement the very low income of teaching in classrooms there.

Google translate has Khmer. I’m just commenting as I watch.
Quick question, what is better a scooter or a motorcycle there I see people riding both
To be honest, the scooters are cheaper and more reliable. I just wanted a bike because I enjoy riding. Plus I look ridiculous on a scooter. It looks like unicycle when I'm on one.
