In order for Americans to fix our real problems, we have to reach across the divide, get out of our digital echo chambers, and have uncomfortable conversations with people who disagree with us and whom we disagree with.
It's the only way forward and as someone who does this often with friends and family, I can tell you it's a lot of hard work that doesn't immediately feel worth it, but does pay off over time if you refuse to give up.

It would be best if America focuses on its own deep issues. Every time it pokes its nose in the business of other countries, if does a dreadful job and in doing so weakens its standing even further.

I assure you if America stops getting involved in world affairs countries like China and Russia will run over the empty husk that used to be the powerful Western world. The problem is America pokes its nose in world affairs with its military which is not the correct route at all. America can VERY EASILY impact world affairs without using its military. America can deny access to markets to our enemies, deny access to America as a whole to our enemies, and even deny access to America to nations that do business with our enemies. Every nation tries to project power and influence whenever they can, America is not unique in that respect. In a historical sense America has actually been VERY restrained in comparison to every other world super power in history. However these last 50 years we have absolutely lost our way and we need to right the ship. The best foreign policy administration since Reagan was Trump's four years. He created peace in the Middle East with three nations signing peace accords with Israel. Trump was also the first President since Jimmy Carter to not start a foreign war. I agree 100% with your sentiment America needs to stop using its military and stop bullying nations, we have been terrible of late in foreign policy and it has weakened us and our allies. However there is a way to do impact world policy for the better peacefully right now while we are still the world super power. However our window of time is running short.

All lives come to an end after running their courses. Same is true of all nations and empires. They just get old. I don't see any empires in the past that have successfully cheated death. Some have morphed into something different - and less great, but they all go through death agony.
It took about 1600 years of failures to produce the men who concieved of the American Experiement. When it, too fails, it's like will never be seen again for many generations, if at all.
The Founders well understood that the Natural State of Man is to be Ruled by Other Men. They constructed a system of government that was divided and stood a chance of remaining responsible to the People. But, many Founders wrote extensively on their concerns right from the start. And now, we are seeing those concerns becoming mainstream.
No matter who is in the White House going forward, I give the nation one more generation before it is no longer a Free Republic. The roots of disease are now well established in all sectors of society, and another 20-30 years of public education will seal our fate.

On the success of America: A scholar from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences told a group of Westerners in 2002 that his group was “asked to look into . . . what accounted for the success, in fact, the pre-eminence of the West all over the world.” After dismissing views that our success was tied to our military, politics, or economic system, they concluded: “the heart of your culture is your religion: Christianity. That is why the West has been so powerful. The Christian moral foundation of social and cultural life was what made possible the emergence of capitalism and then the successful transition to democratic politics. We don’t have any doubt about this.”
    Jim Denison
The reason America is failing is because it has forgotten its beginnings and is attempting to erase them. Others are sitting in apathy. Until generations understand the original idea and foundation of America, we will never figure out how to keep America.

Those you mention cannot help fix our problems. We must individually fix our own problems. It is a spiritual matter. Humanity did not just appear. Humanity was put here for a reason. Those who oppose spiritual have ulterior motives and have done the division. The weak follow the ones who says they can do and be anything. The strong follow the ones who wants structure in ones life. In the end, we are responsible for our own self being. Matthew 7:15/KJV ➡ The choice is yours!

The US need to make a strategic retreat from its global adventures, perhaps closing half the foreign bases, in order to maintain any role as a protector/facilitator of global trade. Failure to do so will result in a global rout in the style of the Afghanistan debacle, only much bigger and with tremendously negative consequences for us back home.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself. Focus on changing yourself and becoming the best person you can. If you think politicians are going to save you then you are living in a total illusion as that is how politicians live, in a total illusion, thinking they can change the world. It's not the world that is the problem, it's the way you look at it, change the world by changing your thoughts.

As both a politician and journalist you have always been a tremendous asset to the conservative cause worldwide. However speaking to Dave Rubin about saving America is somewhat ironic. Dave is a decent guy but naively was one of the biggest supporters of Ron DeSantis. The DeSantis campaign cost the Trump campaign not only a critical year and hundreds of millions of dollars but it most importantly divided our base. If Dave Rubin really knew how desperate the times are and what this moment in history requires he would have been on board with Trump from day one.

Julian Assange's lawyers said Trump offered a pardon if Assange said the Russian GRU didn't hack the Democrat's emails. Assange refused and Trump added the seventeen charges under the Espionage Act to the original hacking charge by Obama and the Trump administration asked the CIA for options for assassinating Assange. Any thoughts on that?

@@basecitizen I do not listen to him anymore either. When he first came to the right I was very put off when he looked down on people of the left that had yet to "wake up" and come to the sane side. Dave spent his first 40+ years on the left helping to destroy America, he should be apologizing to us not looking condescendingly at the people that were his allies for the great majority of his life. A perfect example of a lefty that has seen the like is Dr. Naomi Wolf. She was a TRUE Democrat insider, she was a Bill Clinton advisor and been a top tier Democrat ever since. She was not just a Young Turks reporter like Dave. Anyway Naomi when she came to the right has been a REAL FIGHTER for freedom and American values at great risk to herself. She also wrote a beautiful essay apologizing to the American right, essentially MAGA, stating she realizes now she was on the wrong side all along. It is a great read and not hard to find, you should check it out.

@@dawnvasquez1139 I do not disagree but the RINO's would prefer Biden over MAGA. It has been that way since 2018. Senate and House leadership have proven this by giving zero dollars to MAGA candidates when they are running against Dems for House and Senate seats. McConnell spent 4 million on the Alaska Senate race and the only two candidates were Republicans! We were going to win either way! But he wanted the RINO not the MAGA. Meanwhile McConnel spent zero dollars on Senate runs by Gen Bolduc and other GOP Senate candidates that were MAGA. The RINO's will never join us we just have to defeat them.
