    Nice to see a 6 cylinder instead of a 4 (or electric!). In this day and age where some fuel pumps are charging 250c/L for 98 octane, would be nice if cars were lighter...

    Great video. Wish they could also make a manual variant.

    "It's bigger, roomier, faster, more economical, more technologically advanced" ... and absurdly more expensive than either E-class and C-class predecessor. Enjoy.

    A turbo charged and a supercharger is somewhat complex when out of warranty compared to a Falcon engine.

    No, it does NOT build on the E-Class coupe. It's literally a coupe version of the current C-class. There is nothing E-class about this, unless you subscribe to the idea that making a slightly larger next generation version of a lower model is the same as introducing it as a new version of the higher model. Most people don't subscribe to such a point of view, unless they charge the same as the higher model to try and fool people to think it's the higher model replacement. 🙄

      Not got it all correct.
      C and E is the same just a bit bigger. This is in between only cheap solution is that it has b pilar.

    • @dash-ryan
      @dash-ryan Місяць тому

      @@bizmyurt8582 you misunderstand my point. The current C-Class was always intended to be a bit bigger than its predecessor. The CLE is just a 2-door version of it. Somebody at Mercedes had the grand idea of changing the name, charge more money for it and not release a E-Class coupe to fool everyone to think that this is a combination of the two just because it's a bit bigger. It's just marketing. Dude must have made a huge bonus for coming up with that idea.

      @@bizmyurt8582 agreed, but it's so obvious that the CLE is just a C-Class coupe at an E-Class price is my point.

      I hate the way AMG is fucking around with the AMG brand, diluting the brand value…A45 I get it, C43? Is not even a real AMG and now even the C63 has 4 cylinders? Fuck sake

    When a car company says they combine 2 classes together to make a single model
    You notice that the only thing the combine from the higher model is the size and measurements…
    The C & E CLASS combined to make CLE…. Likewise BMW with
    3 series and 3 series coupe
    = 4 series…
    Both companies used combined to models together…
    But 90% of the so called combination all materials is from the lower model… all but the price was pinched from the lower class… the made sure they charged more than the highest models outgoing price for sure …
    Looks at this CLE INTERIOR
    ITS all C Class
    Nothing from the E CLASS …
    But they’ll charge u like a leads coupe …

    This is "regularly" beautiful car on the outside. But thats it.
    If you looking for a GT coupe dream car then look for Lexus LC 500.
    Naturally aspirated V8 with 471 HP that is piece of art inside and outside

    • @edmundcharles5278
      @edmundcharles5278 Місяць тому +1

      I am looking at the LC 600, but every time I compare it to the Mercedes AMG in terms of performance, storage, utility, interior lighting, afvanced electronics, multi-suspension, gas mileage, etc- the LC 500 seems to come up short! Big deal it has a V8 non-turbo engine, guess what, any new LC type model will abandon that, just like the new GX abandoned the older GX V8.

    • @regnorum
      @regnorum Місяць тому

      @edmundcharles5278 You exactly described what you need to decide when thinking between this two.
      You buy Mercedes if as you say want storage, gas mileage, interior lighting ( altho you can add your own lighting) multi suspension ect.
      You have to remember there will be many many AMGs out there on every second corner.
      With LC 500 you buying exclusivity. Quality build, not top of the line performance.
      But that car is not built for that at all.
      And yes you are right Lexus will never build naturally aspirated V8 EVER!!
      That's the point.
      This is last V8 for Lexus, last of its kind.
      And in the future when you happen to see and hear one rare Lexus LC 500 V8 you might get shocked by the price.

      It is true that Mercedes-Benz has released price and spec for the regular CLE range in Australia (you can view that here www.drive.com.au/news/2024-mercedes-benz-cle-coupe-price-and-specs/) but still not for the AMG CLE53. As you can probably imagine, this event wasn't 'live' but took place in early April, with the content embargoed to late April.
