This movie was my 1st introduction to Dragon Ball, and I'm so glad it was this one. Base Goku was brutal here, even kid Gohan and Piccolo were badass. This one in particular is also better with the japanese music
I loved Goku in this one. I feel like I would have appreciated it more if this was the first one I have seen, but the ending fell flat for me. I have heard that about the Japanese music, maybe my nostalgia just makes it difficult to listen to dragonball in subbed. Unless there is a dubbed version with Japanese music.
@@AceReactionss There is dubbed with japanese music. In fact nowadays most websites use that version of the movies, making it kind of hard to find Z movies with the American rock music
@@Don-fw3nv I much prefer the rock/metal - though I can see how there might be copyright issues on youtube, perhaps. Its how I got into Nirvana and disturbed music lol. >:). Get me pumped for the fights. Every good fight needs some kickazz music, just feels more dull without it. The japanese music feels a little dated to me personally. DBZ one of the few series better dubbed I feel, even though I typically prefer subbed. I prefer Yu Yu hakusho and inu yasha also dubbed but I have watched the subbed for those as well and don't mind them (probably can go either way but like dubbed a touch more for those 2 specifically).
@@AceReactionss Its meant to be super saiyan but this movie was made before super saiyan was shown in the manga so thats why he doesnt have yellow hair. They decided to change this form to psuedo super saiyan (false super saiyan) and i think thats pretty cool!!

False super Saiyan
is that what it is called? I knew something seemed off about it.
