Great video, lots of great info. To add to your point about being safe and not going after loot that might get you eliminated; the same thing applies to thirsting knocked opponents. While I also sometimes fall prey to it, I see a lot of people that just laser focus all of their attention on immediately thirsting a knock, even when they know there are enemies 10m away. Sometimes you want to thirst to prevent rezes, but I've seen countless players lose the game due to their thirsting ways, heheh.
Very true addition, the down side is they could be giving information to their duo/squad. I know I crawl around in the open to place markers on opponents

Packed full of so much information. This is definitely one that I have to watch more than once! Also, I echo what others have said about the suppressor. That said, if it works for you, which it clearly appears it does, then I would keep doing what you're doing.

Great game Toby and I agree with pretty much every move and tip you offered throughout this video. I would ask this question at the level of ranked you play in do you not make the forecast towers a priority? I only ask this because there are a few places where zone can pull out in the snow capped mountains to the east of Glacier where they are quite literally a sheer rock faces that is are high to shock up and there is only one path to get a car up. If you are late getting to those zones and the team ahead of you has bunkers its just game over. Knowing that it feels that prioritizing forecast towers above anything other than a mod bench would be the best way to approach it, but I could be wrong my ranked matches aren't against Unreal players...lol. You are 100% right about cars. In the previous seasons I wasn't as high on them as you are because I like to rotate with as little noise as humanly possible to get the jump on teams that rotated ahead of me, but this season with as powerful as snipers are, the adjustments they made to sprint where it feel at times you have to sacrifice a chicken to a deity to get your stamina bar refilled, and the fact that mobility feels as though it spawns at a much lower rate (I have gone entire matches without finding more than 3 shocks or a grapple blade, even if I lad at a medallion POI) just makes the need for them while rotating a necessity in ways they were not previously. All in all man excellent job by you and your duo man and I look forward to seeing more content like this in the future.
Thanks JC! Yes - Forecast towers are super important, we just wasted too much time at Fencing in this game. But I generally go after them every game. On the flip side, most high ranked players know how good they are so it becomes really chaotic (at least the fencing one)... the others are probably less crazy.
@@TobyWanShinobi yeah I would assume they become a area of contention about as crazy as the medallion POIs themselves specifically the one that spawns between Railways and Glacier
Maaaaaaan, the “It’s Go Time” fight and insights (starting @ 15:30) were incredible, poetry in motion.
I need to work on close range engagements. If I know my opponent is better than me, I choke a lot. Medium and long range I have down. As long as my ping is in my favor during sniper peaks

I had the same problem but for whatever reason this season has been the opposite for me. I stick to the auto shotgun with cover and wait for them to run towards me

Start with getting your settings right... then checkout my "assault rifle aim tips" video. I'd get your sensitivity settings from a good controller player like Evolve Jake, MF Buddy or MF Dump on UA-cam.
Yo Master, the silencer was just proven to decrease bullet travel (basically bullet distance) by a few youtubers.. so i stopped putting it on the snipers, and shotguns. I do agree with you that silenced weapons feel like they have more control somehow, so i still put one on my AR's and SMG's, because their distance is ass anyways with them not being hitscan anymore. Hope this helps
More hidden details,
Extended Mag increases your reload time,
Angled Foregrip decreases ADS time,
Vertical Foregrip lowers Vertical Recoil,
Laser increases Hip Fire accuracy,
Muzzle Break decreases Vertical recoil (small chance it increases Bullet Velocity, don't remember)
Suppressor removes you from Visual Audio and the Compass when firing, and decreases bullet velocity and max range (but only like 1m I think)
Hey Shane, do you have a video of this proof? You say a few youtubers have proof, but I can't find any. I might need to run my own test. I've made the mistake of sharing "facts" before from other people which were wrong (i.e. I told everyone the 2x scope had glint because everyone kept telling me that).
And I'm not saying you are wrong at all, I just want to see it in action.
It's reported as 10 percent which is basically nothing in this meta. Maybe if people were using ARs for long range.

This is super helpful for me as I’m pushing for my highest ranked position since I started this year. I’m at Elite and hoping to hit Champion over the next three days. Do you feel there is an advantage going solo, duo or squads when pushing for rank? It’s been a mixed bag for me. I could have 5 terrible games in squads and duo but get it all back solo. Thoughts?
I think the better your squad / team, the easier duos and squads get. Squads being the easiest with 4 sweaty players who play well as teammates (not lone wolves).
Duos being second easiest if you've got another great player.
Solos is hard cuz if you get sniped, game over. But also if you are good / smart it's easier to just depend on yourself.

Nice video. Question. Does the Azeron work on Xbox. Have you had any problems with yours? I'm thinking about getting one. I don't want to get a 200 device that breaks too quickly.

No worries. It's been rock solid for me. Also every part is replaceable and sold by azeron. I think it would work on xbox because it's essentially a keyboard.

I've never seen fencing field with a storm line that early in the game.
Learned a lot from you through your videos, but one tip - using the H key at the mod bench instead of clicking and holding the button is probably twice as fast. Maybe not a huge thing, but I like to get out of the bench quickly since I'm exposed.
I use an Azeron and I don't have H mapped yet. Thanks for the tip though, it is indeed much faster to upgrade with H!
I also use the Azeron and had a few extra available, so I mapped it to the upper index pull button. @@TobyWanShinobi
Which places 1-3 do you occupy with which weapon?
For me, it's 1 = AR /sniper , 2 = shotgun , 3 = SMG / AR(if carrying a sniper)
But I use an azeron keypad.

Silencer makes the gun bullet have bigger dropoff and less dmg at distance, i would not recommend it.

@blackfiresprout it's not "relying on loot pool" it's planning ahead. Bunkers are a green (common) item. You will most definitely find them. I start picking them up with less than 30 players alive. Did you see the end of this game? There is ZERO chance of me surviving without bunkers in that zone.
I’ve noticed the best way to win is to team up and cheat. Because it happens every game to me since getting to silver( new to the game). Maybe higher ranks don’t have that problem but I’m not about to waste my time to find out.
Report them. I rarely see it, but it does happen in my lobbies too.
Why do you never see people using ballistic shields? Every time I play now I get eliminated by someone who pulls out a ballistic shield when they have like 10 hp and I've still got 50+ then I die. It seems like a really powerful trick to pull at the last second of a fight, but I rarely see anyone even using the shield on your streams or videos. How do you handle them if they pull them on you mid-fight?
I fight them all the time. They are a real issue in end games. You have to get above their head and use movement on them. Don't fight them mid range, that gets really dangerous. Either be really close (jumping over their head, etc) or really far.
Been on a awful losing streak today. Idk what changed in my gameplay. Blehhhhhh wish i knew how to deal with loss better. I get mad it's just a game

I have been working up the courage to not carry medkits and blue heals.
same. I try to stick with the fizz or berries. but if I play squads with randoms I do keep med kits because some people just like to camp around then the storm hits
