    Reminds me of checks,captures and attacks in chess. In this instance check ur area for enemies and areas for cover, captures/ control your battle area,then attack the enemy on your terms not theirs.

    This is a great video, especially for this season ranked or not….I’ve been using escape after every fight I win. Because 3rd, 4th, and 5th party is a real thing this season. I win the fight shock away to a safe place and watch the loot for incoming enemies. If no one comes, I loot and get out quickly. If the 3rd party comes, I’ll take them on if I’m sure I can take them without a bad 50/50, or I sacrifice that loot and move on.

      @mjohnstone2399 7 місяців тому

      @@tryhardcowboy9404 Good idea thou won't work if the keybinding for exit vehicle and reboot is the same key. A bunker is a lot safer then a car and if it's a contested area you're highly unlikely to get the reboot off against squads, unless they're busy with another squad. Extracting the reboot cards can be a bit of art. High risk option you take them all on, yeah good luck with that. Lure the oppoents far enough from the reboot cards to duck in and out which is likely to require multiple forms of mobility ie. shockwaves/car/"wings of death". Or outwaiting the zone to retrieve them which requires white heals.

    Amazing video! Thanks so much for putting together such detailed and structured strategies. In my recent games I've been trying to not take action until I have got some insight into the situation. I've noticed watching you and some other UA-camrs that sometimes the fights play out quite slowly and deliberately. You seem to take your time to get the maximum advantage rather than just always pushign for the quick kill and getting into stupid 50/50s. It's kind of like the measure twice cut once rule but for Fortnite 🤣

    Toby, your videos and content are really good. But, dude, the percentages in the titles feel like low-rent click-bait. You’re better than that. I have to be honest, if the first couple of videos I had seen had those made-up percentages, I would never have clicked on them.
    I’m serious, your content is first rate. Don’t resort to click-bait titles. I dunno, maybe you’ve done market testing and find better response with the click-bait. If so, then keep doing the thing that is working for you. But if you haven’t, I suggest doing a test to see which works better, with or without percentages.

    • @TobyWanShinobi
      @TobyWanShinobi  7 місяців тому

      Click bait works, unfortunately. You can have the best content in the world but no one is going to watch it if your title and thumbnail doesn't intrigue. These percentages are totally made up and pretty much a joke and I think most people realize that by the time they get into the first 30 seconds of the video.
      I've spent a lot of time and got a lot of coaching in this area (from the best YT teachers around). The fact is - if you clickbait and then provide real value, no one is mad about it. If you click bait and provide no value, then people are upset and call "click bait".
      So yes - my video views pretty much double with click bait titles, but the value is always the same and (and an actual stat), 98.4% of people like them on average. Which is a very good ratio.
