  • Do you want to know #1 way to never feel intimidated again: In this video you will know the crystal clear direction how to stop being intimidated again from the very root cause up. Because only when we solve the actual root cause of being intimidated, we can solve the root cause together with its symptoms once and for all.
Intimidation is when someone tries to frighten into doing what they want.
Welcome to this video, I’m Tom Nuyens from the Alive Academy.com
I used to be intimidated throughout my childhood. Together with having been laughed at for having been very skinny,
was my main reason of wanting to become strong and muscular.
But even with an eventually gained outer tall, strong and muscular appearance, I kept feeling intimidated by for example by a girlfriend that was half of my size, muscles and weight. This way I learned that trying to solve my inner issues, by looking for an external muscular mask for example, doesn’t work.
Therefor we must understand the root cause why we feel intimidated.
    Enjoy the video!

I would tell him firmly to "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" and don't even speak to him ever again. I would make it known clearly that you want him to stay away. After that, never look towards him, speak or be around him ever again.

I remember in my freshman year of high school I was made fun of for a zip up hoodie thing I wore that day. My father noticed I was even more withdrawn than usual for a young teen that embarrassed about everything involving their folks. I told him what happened and he gave me the best advice I ever received in my entire life. His exact words were “Fuck them. If they don’t pay your bills, their opinion doesn’t matter.” It was like a light switch went off in my head and from then on any negativity, insults, whatever just bounced off because people like that were beneath my notice and not worth my time. It’s hard to talk smack if you just ignore the fools.
I once had one get violent and push me but I picked up a chair and hit him with it. Was worth a 5 day suspension. Even got a high five from my dad when my mom wasn’t looking. Never had any issues after that. Don’t be afraid to march to your own tune. Ignore fools that don’t bring value to your life and never be afraid to speak your mind. It’s very liberating indeed.

You just articulated one of the main failures schools and workplaces have when handling bullying and that is giving equal credence to the bully's lies, denials and excuses and meting out punishment to both the bully and the victim.

I've always gotten bullied and I really relate to what you're saying about seeing from your own eyes and having lost that. I'll try to be more present and pay attention to how I feel. I think I lost my centeredness and get caught up into everyone else's eyes and I find men who always pick on me and try and pick fights or intimidate me. I'm like a homing beacon for them. But I think it's true I always find distractions from my feelings and always look for something to do, never resting. I also spent so many years lifting weights and training jiujitsu and stuff and to be honest it hasn't changed anything. I still get intimidated, only how I react has become with more anger than fear. But in the end I'm still intimidated and uncomfortable and reacting, it's just the reaction changed from being scared to being angry and wanting to fight. Which is not what I want. I don't want to get into fights with random angry men every day. I want to feel happy, safe, at peace, calm. I don't know if it's through more training that I can get that. Maybe it's a combination of training more martial arts but also more meditation and mindfulness and being honest about how I feel. I dunno.

Childhood things throughout my older years, bad choices of others effect your small world and your too young to deal with it. So blocking it off and numbing it with netflix box sets or old movies, but i always need to suffocate my brain. Wish i could talk to u properly! Thanks so much. Needed the cry i think. 😭😭🇬🇧

This is very valuable information, but sadly enough most people have so many issues, they cannot see clearly, and with the suppressed suffering endured, they continue sinking, hoping that one day someone will save them. Here's hoping that more and more people start waking up. All the best to all 💛

I feel like i'm not good enough to have friends, i hang out with people that dislike me, it hasn't always been the case. I found therapy tough and ineffective, and costly, so i'm utterly clueless as to what to do. Also unemployed, extremely uncomfortable with my appearance, haven't ever held a proper job, extremely socially uncomfortable, i'm 30 now, there are also a handful of people who i occasionally run into who completely dislike me, yet whenever i see them i'm always polite and presentable, i find them very strange. I love to draw and paint and would like to make a career from that. I have a lot of talents, but yet i have always found working one of the biggest obstacles for me, due to my social discomfort, dislike of most people and discomfort with my looks, i cannot articulate my frustration...From Ireland, want to move to Spain.

Lemme give you some advice.Get rid of your smartphone or atleast all social media. You'll be bored for a few days but later you will enjoy the small things like the only time you talk to your mother during the day or the morning coffee.Youll have more focus on what you want to do in life be it art or anything else.
See a psychiatrist get on ssri's if you need to.Get over this phase of depression and put massive effort into self improvement. Imagine your father figure or your ancestors looking over to you and screaming at you every time you want to give up "DONT BE A PUSSY"

I know how you feel don’t be too hard on yourself, don’t give toxic people a full time position in your LIFE!!.It starts with you and don’t externalise your happiness,go within as happiness is within but start small and don’t have too bigger expectations immediately but build consistently.write

The abundance mindset is the actual mindset we should face our lives with. Instead we choose to cling on to the fear mindset which we see in the surroundings. Always believe in yourselves and keep learning cuz others they are just better at hiding. And You are free You are abundant and here to give everyone and yourselves.

Im a fighter thats had training and spars but i haven’t been in a fight before so I have a constant fear that ill lose no matter my training. I now realize I’m just overthinking and distracting myself instead of working harder to improve my abilities. Im going to change myself for the better so i can work harder and enjoy life. Thank you!

Overthinking isn't the issue for me. NEGATIVE overthinking is.
An overthinker is actually someone who still listens to his inner judge (core in the video) and criticizes himself. That is a quality in my book.
The flaw is when you stop thinking and let others think for you.

I now spend my time on a spirtual path coupled with trauma n addiction education to bring this same message to help others. I do it on a street level targeting homeless n suffering addicts. This is fantastic but sometimes people use distractions or stimulations unintentionally. If you don't get enough sleep, it requires you to rely on unnatural sources of energy and stimulation in order to get going. It's not a good habit and it can lead to worse habits, but it's not necessarily all that dysfunctional nor intentional. Unnatural energy leads to failure because you're ultimately not prepared for challenges that require deep natural strength.

Wow! 3/4 of the way in, and I had to pause and comment. A LOT of great info I had never come across before.
    Animation was brilliant.
    You have a new subscriber.
If you haven’t already, I would love to hear your thoughts on how to “value” the intimidator.

Man this made me cry brother. I've been this way since I was bullied in elementary and jr. high school. Then I lashed out and my life went bad and still is. I pray the Lord hears you and understands me and helps me feel free one day.

Wonderful explanation of the roots and consequences of our human core problem - BUT sadly explaining a problem does NOT automatically solve it. Healing our inner pain and embracing all our emotions is VERY HARD, especially when you have to deal with early childhood traumas. Just wanting to heal and feel your pain is not enough - in many cases you will need professional help and knowledge to know where to begin and which way to go. I really miss some words on the HOW to do what is recommended here
Because without that the headline "Psychological liberating direction" is quite exaggerated.....

just yesterday, my auntie's daughter who's a year older at me(i am 18, shes 19), when i make a mistake, instead of me explaining she just tells me to back off, and approach me agressively and says to my face that i am dirty, and wants to elbow or hurt my face or something, and when i try to explain something she tells me to shut up, because of this i became confused and kinda pressured, then my auntie came to ask me calmly instead of being angry.
my english is bad so i hope you can read it😩

The only time this becomes irrelevant is when they other person is a psychopath. In that case they manipulate for pleasure not because of being disconnected.

Great video. I came across this in search of why I'm so intimidated by ppl (shopping..driving..). I know I don't carry self confidence because I don't feel like I behave like the most- The carefree, me-me type, selfish, nosey, arrogant, or definitely not the loud, over confident types. Which has become the most of society.
Is there room for me? 🤔 I may just search how to walk around with a sense of entitlement. Just curious! how ppl do it 🤯 and the WHY.😏😏
Great video again. Makes a lot of sense. And the covert part.
