Yay, it looks so good! I ruined a nice piece of white glass trying to cut out a concave section like that. I’m just going to grind it out next time after seeing this vid. Great job!
Great job, I have NO idea how close or not the “C” was to fracturing, but I could hear it in your voice, and I think I head your heart LOL. Well done! Cheers, Sean
What kind of clamp are you using to hold the glass while you're doing the jump rings? It looks way less invasive than any "extra hands" setup or other types of clamps that I have tried thus far - thanks!
I felt it when the "c" broke! Question.. new to this so forgive me if this is an obvious question but where can I find that clamp. Or what is it called. Thank you for your videos!✌️
Hello, thank you very much for sharing these videos, I have a question, how many millimeters in diameter is the weld you have? In Mexico we ask for it by millimeters, for example 1 milimeter de diameter. I believe that in the USA they use other units of measurement. Thank you and sorry if I didn't make myself clear.
FIRST of all I think you're pretty cool and your site was the first SG one I subscribed to, so please take this as just an observation: I've watched this a few times and just now saw something that may not matter at all (since you did finally get the inside of the the C cleaned out) but didn't you have the Breaker-Grozer pliers upside down when you were grozing (chewing out the area)? I'm a newbie newbie but have watched and read a lot. When "chewing", the curved side should be on top. The flat jaw (breaker) should be on top when breaking at the score line...out and down. (NOTE: I used your discount code for an Inland grinder. Also, got the second story for the smaller radius...it's awesome!)
Can you tell me how to make a panel with the words THE Vault. I don't know how to cut glass around it inside letters . I've never made anything like this and I don't know how
@@StainedGlassDIY - I want to eventually learn to accomplish Fleur De Lis (in a form like the Saints logo) they are all curves. Perfect symmetry. It’s going to be a while for me to work towards but if you feel like a challenge they make an outstanding central focus. I like your on camera presence btw.
Huge props on getting that inside curve done. Nice job
Love the choice of glass, was holding my breath with that C! Really nice
turned out SO GOOD! That iridescent glass really popped off when you polished it.
Love it!
I want to make this now

So beautiful and the perfect word for for this project and at this time. Again, these close ups are so so helpful!!! Very motivating. Good stuff! I 🙏💙
Just so happy the C didn’t heat fracture when soldering. That would be heart break!
Mannnn nice job on the C, that was a super difficult piece to cut and you rocked it.
Thanks it feels good to get it right
Senseless cutting...this fellow is mad
Beautiful 👍👍🥰🥰🥰

😱
That C was hectic! Way to stick with it. Turned out amazing
Man I soooooo wish that copper color could have been kept for this one! Stunning in silver but oh my that copper with the irridescent!!!!
I agree it’s a good combo. I’m gonna have to try copper with that iridescent next time.
Absolutely beautiful. Love and light my friend from uk
❤️
LOVE IT!! That was my nickname in high school many many moons ago because my initials are CHL.

Oh my “𝐜”!!!!!
I think about the dire wolf whenever i end up recutting the same piece over and over and over....
😱 I’m having flashbacks
Love the colors! What clamp did you use for soldering the rings on?? I've been looking for something like that!
It's a mini vise! Works so well geni.us/minivise
Inspiring, nice work! Mostly fun, save for the irregular heart beats... :)
😅
what do you put under the glass while you foil? it looks awesome btw 😌

This turned out great. The colour combo was a great choice :) Are you using Canva for the font?
Yes canva!
How do you dispose of the water with the coolant and glass after?
They should be non-toxic and biodegradeable so you can rinse off with water but the glass grit you can dump into your garden or lawn.

I think you’re right I should flip it around!
Can you tell me how to make a panel with the words THE Vault. I don't know how to cut glass around it inside letters . I've never made anything like this and I don't know how
anyone know the name of this font??
You have probably worked this out yourself by now; but if you had put in some relief cuts it would have been a tiny bit easier.
On your C what would happen if you scored both sides?
I think it would’ve helped. Others have suggested to do a grid on the one side too which just helps break the glass easier. Will try next time. 👍
Ironic how nervous you were making the word “chill”
Wrong word choice for sure 😂
Why not just cut the inside of the c with a ring saw?
Wouldn't be fun now would it 😆 but seriously if I had one I'd probably not stress out anymore
I won’t be doing any “C”s anytime soon I don’t think.
Getting nightmares just thinking about it 🫣

"fun" lettering project? This irony in glass dude, so stressful to watch 😀
I'm stressed out just remembering about it
