Porsche Cup at Silverstone - Spin in Turn 4 | Open Setup | Strength of Field 3352 - D-Box Motion

This time, I participated in the iRacing Porsche Cup at Silverstone with an open setup. The Strength of Field was 3352. I gained +0.13 Safety Rating and +1 iRating. I started in 14th position with car number 14 and finished in 13th place with four incident points, all due to track limits. I managed to avoid crashes, except for a spin in the fourth corner of the first lap caused by accelerating too quickly on cold tires, which dropped me to the last position. This is a mistake I often make in the first lap, despite my intention to stay calm and drive carefully, regardless of overtakes. I guess it’s due to a lack of practice, but it’s hard to blame me when it’s 30 degrees outside and 40 degrees in my living room simulator setup.
Despite the heat, it was an absolutely fantastic race on my Full Motion D-Box Simulator, equipped with a 57-inch integrated display, Simucube 2 Ultimate Wheelbase, Precision Sim Engineering Porsche Cup Replica Wheel, Simtag Ashley hydraulic pedals, Sparco 5-point harness, and more. I absolutely love this simulator; it’s the best setup I’ve ever put together. Every drive is a dream.
I hope you enjoyed the race. There were a few funny moments, especially watching others crash from behind. I also hope the sound was okay and that I didn’t ramble too much. After watching your videos I decided to get this monitor when I saw it on sale. Should arrive in 4-5 days. I had a 49” G9 in the past so I can’t wait to see how this compares. Great racing mate

How did you get your camera quality to be so clear? I am struggling with mine. When I record, my video comes out blurry and it’s hard to read any text on the dashboard

Thats because I do all settings manual instead of Auto! Especially the Focus I adjust every time new before recording! Try it and you will get great results 😁👍
