Hello, I recently watched a video in which someone from Hawaii mentions being required to kill 1 mongoose a day by a farmer he worked for years ago and drowning them in a bucket. I said that sounded like a disgusting way to kill an animal, and he said that was the quickest and most effective because of the traps, although he didn't like doing it. So, how are they supposed to be dealt with?
@@lordelliott42 When I used a repeating mouse trap years ago, the instructions prescribed drowning. It only required a couple minutes, at most, and seemed very humane.
Chocolate chip cookies are an excellent bait for these critters!

I've read that drowning used to be considered a humane form of euthanasia, but is not anymore?
