Happy to report this still works! I'm working on several comparison pages for a brand, and 3 different times now I went from no snippet for "Brand A vs Brand B" to a featured snippet!
Great share, I can confirm this works. A similar concept applies for different types of contents' featured snippets --- Get better at pattern recognition
Great tip - going through and implementing this as we speak! Any thoughts on the suggestion that you should bold the text that you are aiming to have as a featured snippet, just as a way to sort of encourage Google to use it?
I have a question: Can I win the featured snippet on Google for this keyword "white acrylic nails designs"? Right now, what shows on top are the Google Images related to the topic. And I know it's not a featured snippet, or is it? I'm really confused if I can beat these results made by Google and replaced my featured snippet. Need help! Thanks
I doubt you can beat a Google Images widget. I think it's similar to the UA-cam widget thing. You can never beat it once it's appeared in the SERPs. Check out "how to tie your shoes for kids," for example. You'll never win a featured snippet for this keyword because it's a UA-cam video followed by the widget. Another example is "how to tie your shoes." You can theoretically beat that because it's only a UA-cam video without an entire UA-cam widget after it. There is a People also ask widget and below it - wikihow.
Probably not, because Google uses the different features depending on the intent behind the query. It shows images in this case because it is what people want to see when they search for that term.
turn it into a question: 'what are the best white acrylic nail designs?' 'what are the most popular ..designs..?' and make your table of the answers ????i am not a pro...@@hgksgltnmad

Awesome tip as usual, Steve. Thanks so much. 🙂 🇧🇩
Having had a sneak peak of GScore I can safely say that it will be a regular part of my toolbox. Can't wait for it to go live.

Super cool tip.
How do I check if my blog is in the featured snippet after this optimization? I'm asking as it might vary by country? Not sure.

@@choki2453 But let’s say I want to make a table for that topic in order for me to own a snippet, would that be possible?
Probably not, because Google uses the different features depending on the intent behind the query. It shows images in this case because it is what people want to see when they search for that term.
