Great video. You go a bit too quick but love the content. I've been using the process in the second half you suggest and it works great! I LOVE free ways to increase leads. I'm amazed at how few business owners know what Search Console is, let along use it for finding opportunities from the figures in it. Its an AWESOME tool. Thanks for making this video Sam.
Great walkthrough Sam! Would love to hear your thoughts or experience on a good process or tools out there for testing title tags against one another. I know Brian Dean put out a paid WP plugin for this awhile back, but I've heard surprisingly little about more advanced ways to approach title tag optimization besides simply swapping new ones one at a time and monitoring results.
Tough question, Tyler, but a good one. I believe Coschedule has a headline testing tool. In my opinion, it's best to just analyze the top 10 SERP, see what stands out to you as being (click-worthy - not clickbait), and form one that you're happy with. From there, get ranked in the top 10 and look to Google Search Console for areas of improvement. An additional layer you can add is to look at the SERP position history graph inside Site Explorer for your competing keyword. Add the top X domains and see the volatility of their rankings over time. You can try experimenting with "similar" (not the same) parts of the headline to see if you can better meet search intent. Title testing is tough and there are definitely tools out there. Unfortunately, I haven't personally used them for a long enough time to say that one's great and another isn't.
Hey Sam, What strategies would you suggest if we wish to rank#1 on this long-tail keyword "commercial cleaning contracts"? Any help from you will be genuinely appreciated.

Hi Sam! thanks a lot for great expertise, you are very helpful :) I have a few questions, which i could find at ahrefs. Here it is -1. How many keywords are recommended to optimise at a time and how often i would need to change them? 2. Is it a good idea to write blogs which are trendy but not much related to your niche, but come across with the interest of your audience? (as i can see several bad and good points about it). 3. How many blogs a month would be a good number to upload? I hope this is not too much to ask. Many thanks in advance, i trust your opinion
Thank you for the positive feedback. Here are some insights on your questions - 1. The more related keywords for your target topic you get, the better the results will be. On average top SERP pages rank for about a 1000 keywords. Do not change your target keywords if you already rank for these, better update your topic with more valuable data and start ranking for some extra keywords in trend. 2. It is about the value that you get from such posts. This video might be a good help for you - ua-cam.com/video/9fglNtHmc8I/v-deo.html 3. One post per week is more than enough. You can post less to make sure your content is literally outstanding. Do not forget about content audit - ua-cam.com/video/tWNvAGwiVqo/v-deo.html
What if the SERP intent is inconclusive and filled with all kinds of results? I am looking at a keyword that shows guides on different issues and also ecommerce results etc.
Sometimes it happens. I would check historical data of SERP within Keyword Explorer. By checking trends for URLs that are getting better rankings lately would be a better choice for search intent. Hope that helps. - Max

I have few pages on first page but not one number 1. I knew that optimizing the title can improve my CTR but at the same time i am also afraid to do so fearing that i might even lose the rank i have. So my question is if i rank on first page and optimize the title, will it hurt the SERP or can affect negatively??
Check the keywords this page ranks for. Then make sure you keep the important part of the current title and add a small click-bait portion for better CTR. This should not give you negative results. Just keep testing and tracking😉
Great video as always. What can I use to improve my tittle if the the search volume is very low ( keyword is 2 in Ahreffs) so i can not see any other suggested keywords.........Can I still write the title as "best headphones " and hope for the best ( there is no parent topic)? ( my query is in spanish and it seems that few people is feeding Google with questions, so there is no even a list of suggested keywords available) . Any advice ? Thanks!!!
Hey Alex. Tough to say with what's been said (and I don't understand Spanish). If there is no parent topic or "top keyword" in the SERP overview, I would try two things: 1. Update the SERP in Keywords Explorer (there's a button at the top of the overview page) 2. Try using a new seed keyword > phrase match > use the include feature to look for "best" in your language and see if there might be a better keyword to target. Ah ic. Try and toy around with it and make sure that you have set the correct country in Keywords Explorer. I believe by default, it will be set to the US, so if you're searching for Spanish terms there, then they would likely be lower than the country in which you're targeting (unless you are looking for US searchers).
