I wanted to ask one thing suppose I am in a middle of a meeting and my phone is on silent mode if someone calls me I don't wanna answer it even want to set my screen off after I have pressed the right button to turn the screen off but goes off for a second but it keeps coming back displaying the person's name which everyone can see.... How to turn the screen off ?? So that noone knows whose calling ?
Xiaomi 14 is way better especially if s24 only offers Exynos in your region. Even with 7 years of updates it won't last 5 years with that chip and it's efficiency
How do I have two apps open at the same time? When I bring up the recent apps and hold my finger on the app, with most apps it doesn't work. The only one I found that does is the camera app. The video made me sweat a bit. It can record in 8k, it's just under the settings.

If you just use your phone for call and WhatsApp that would be fine😊see the Ui for most of the phones are literally the same.....look at Samsung, look at OnePlus.....I know what you said was purely your perspective but just to remind you it's not always about the ui... there's much behind the screen which can work wonders!!!!
Have any of you experienced problem recording 24fps video when in Pro mode? My X14 can record 24fps when in Movie mode or Video mode, but only records 30fps or 60fps in Pro mode, even if you set it to 24fps in 4k or 8k

Every app can be removed using the Xiaomi Debloat tool without rooting your phone. You will need to enable ADB for that. And it's a one time solution. Meaning once you removed the bloat it will be gone for good.
The ultimate trick would be to RESTORE THAT DAMN SMART COVER FEATURE. But nooooooooooo they had to remove the most important thing of all..... uuuuuuuuugh!!!
naah I'm not, but what I did to cancel the "focus" is doing it in portrait mode. I've been using portrait mode if I'm going to take a pic of a note full of words
i will buy this phone and optimize it to be like an iphone, its better than iphone 15 and s24 and lower price, but i lived with my iphone xr alot so i love ios icon

my problem at Xiaomi 14 is the focus on the camera,
like for example,
there's 2 people, the other one is blurred while the other one is not
Maybe you are shooting in portrait mode.
