I live alone now and have community/institutional food for six years. Watching your video captured me. I can get salad, fruit, dessert from Complex without more unsalted veggies and loads of pasta with “cream” sauce. Thank you for demonstrating what the cook does. The mechanics of creating, organizing, shipping, and ingenuity of cooking such meals makes them a bargain in my life.
My husband and I are in our late 70's. Our daughter got Tovala for us because we were eating cereal or toast for dinner. We actually share a meal and just add a fruit or small salad. Every meal we have tried has been delicious and so easy.
Thanks for this video! Kept trying to find a real example of how much prep was involved with their meal kits. Since all meal kit companies love to claim their meals are quick and easy, I wanted an example of Tovala's meals to see if it actually was any different. Your video should be on their website, so many people would benefit from seeing how it's literally seconds of "prep" involved. Thanks so much!

Just ordered my Tovala. I've been wanting one for a really long time but it was too expensive. The Memorial Day discount made it affordable. Praying the Tovala meals and the food from Trader Joe's work well. Even if they don't the 100 day money back guarantee makes me feel really good about my purchase.

Strange question... can you put the tovola tin containers in the dishwasher. I have to clean the items before I recycle.
So for a family of three, if I want to have Tovala cook our dinner meals say Monday through Thursday I would need like 12 meals? Example the chicken meal you showed in the video I would have to order 3 of those to be able to feed the three of us?

Yes, one meal is one serving for one person.
Though I agree with you that tofu is NOT and never could be steak. You are dead wrong about what is a steak. Ever heard of bison, pork, venison, elk, turkey, ostrich, Salmon, halibut, several tuna? I could go on quite easily......

So it’s basically for a single people only, cause it will take 20 min times 4-5 to make dinner for 4-5 people. Lame.
You can make two at a time of the same meal- but it is definitely made for those with smaller families or those who don't eat at the same time. I know there are quite a few people with busy teenagers who love it because the kids can cook for themselves when they are ready to eat.
You can make 2 complete meals at a time. Nevertheless I understand where you’re coming from.
