Peter, this was one of your best videos yet. The food looks awesome and I like how easy it is to use that toaster oven.
It’s not just a toaster oven! It’s a steam oven, convection oven, broiler, etc that can also toast! Just got mine and awaiting my first meal order.
So after a TON of research....my BFF opted for the Tovala and I started Freshly. We’ve been comparing services...the Tovala is a LOT more expensive...they keep saying it’s cheaper than take out or Uber Eats etc...but not by much at all.especially after you add up all the extras..then you have to buy the oven which isn’t cheap...she can’t even fit a small pizza in there...the food she got tastes good but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. Freshly on the other hand....food portion is huge..costs a lot less and all meals can be heated 3-5 minutes max in the microwave. Only thing there are no fish/seafood options with Freshly but they have everything else....pork....beef..chicken and turkey entrees...She is usually hungry still after eating..and My meals I’m stuffed after 3/4 through...so you definitely get more food for the money with Freshly...both services food tastes good. One thing I did notice though with Freshly the actual meal containers and more eco-friendly.
I like both. I also agree that all of the food service portions don't seem to be very big.
To be fair for health reasons feeling full is more often satiating the food addiction than a signal for ample food

I work night shift and I live alone atm... looking for a alternative to home cooking that doesn’t require me to make a family sized meal just to follow a recipe...

Is there breakfast or snacks? Is it fir 1 person it looks like a lot of food. If you took it for lunch is it ok to microwave. Great video.
Hi! I just bought one of these and I'm waiting for my first meals to arrive but I think I can answer these questions: There's no breakfast or snacks. They have a handful of meals to choose from but they are more lunches or dinners. Each meal he made in the video is made for one person (and it does look like a lot so you may have leftovers). I don't know if every meal is microwave friendly considering that the meat ones are raw and the oven steams/bakes/broils it til it's fully cooked. Right now they have some soups and such that would be more microwave friendly. The meals are really made for the oven in my opinion.

@@petervonpanda if I do this I would want two of the same meals each night for my husband and I. So if we want Tovala meals 5 nights in a week would I buy 10 of the same meals for my delivery? Or do they have two person portioned meals? I’m just hoping for some clarification so thank you in advance. The video is great. Also one more question, right now you can get the oven for 49.99 if you buy meals six times within six months… if you chose to cancel after that , would the oven be yours free and clear? Or do you get penalized or charged anything?
